Another unrelated note: If these AoT revisions go through, I'll have a bunch more Xeno vs AoT MUs to play with that aren't just (pun only slightly intended) titanic shitstomps in Xeno's favour. N vs Eren works like a charm, Historia becomes Melia's undisputed best MU, Ashera vs Hange has more of an arguable stat gap, Levi gets options such as Jin Uzuki or Ethel, Jesse Black vs Kenny Ackerman isn't just a gag MU anymore... I could go on and on.

Wondering if I should make thumbnails for this.

On another note (and after mentioning possible Xeno MUs after my post about AoT upgrades):

Moebius N (XC3) vs Eren Yeager (AoT):
OST Name: "Endless Rumbling"​

Relations:

  • Both are plays on 'fallen hero' tropes after manipulations from antagonists obsessed with historical eons (N being another version of Noah, after Z baited him into the 'Endless Now', a euphemism for the Keves and Agnus war manufactured by Moebius, and Zeke Yeager manipulating both Eren and Historia Reiss into being shown the history of Eldia/Marley and the truth of the Titans after the battle of Shiganshina in order to carry out either The Rumbling (I.E: the destruction of all but Eldia) or the sterilization of the Eldian population).
  • As a Corollary to this, Eren was once a wide-eyed optimist, who was driven to want all of the Titans dead after the death of his mum, and N was once an Ouroboros candidate against Moebius within the city he ended up destroying.
  • As a result, both should scale similarly (City-level physical peaks, with T2+ lore scaling). One to the 'Endless Now', the other to the Coordinate being 'infinite in time, and instantaneous'.
  • Both implicate some kind of form shifting into their kits, Eren being a Titan Shifter, and N, whilst being Moebius, technically has Ouroboros blood on hand (or at least, Noah does) as an ex-candidate (not to mention he's boxed Ouroboros to a standstill before).
  • Both also want to preserve some kind of kinship with a friend or group of friends as a result of their choices. N 'chose' the 'Endless Now' initially to save M, after all of the permutations of their form fell to Z (before Z hired them as outliers to the cycle of war that Keves and Agnus were forced into). Meanwhile, Eren... flip-flops between holding Mikasa Ackerman in contempt (primarily because of the Ackerman blood forcing her to act on survival instinct to save him), and wanting her saved when Eldia is the only nation left standing after the Rumbling (not to mention the small selection of ex-Scout Regiment classmates he'd keep around were they unable to finish him off).
  • As ANOTHER Corollary to this: both N and Eren would see themselves betray the ones that led them on this path in some way, N finally re-joining with Noah after their final fight within Origin, coming back out with the then-renewed M to deal the final blow to Z and Moebius in general, and Eren having double-crossed Zeke to gain access to Ymir Fritz ability to control the coordinate (and to varying degrees, all Subjects of Ymir) and re-write the AoT timeline regarding those with Royal Blood (largely because of the injection his dad gave him that handed Eren the Attack and Founding Titan(s) in the first place).

Hopefully I've gotten the idea across by now. I also have other MU ideas, but they'll have to wait for now.

And IIRC another episode for Season 10 of Death Battle will be announced to Death Battle YouTube Champion members within March 2023.
