He is usually the first to rush to withstand big threats, jobs, then comes back.
His more significant shine is fighting against Kim- Android 19.
Meanwhile, ... I am more interested to know what are the next episodes and (part of it) how many episodes do we really have throughout 2022.

At least Vegeta is an absolute tank (OR a gluttony for punishment depending on your PoV) literally in every saga he gets beaten or killed by the main villain/antagonist but he doesn't truly stay down and even death can't hold him down for long.
It's a shame Vegeta is one of the most popular examples of the worf effect in pop culture.
The only exceptions to the rule is in the Saiyan saga (when he's the main villain) or whenever he fuses with Goku (Many consider Gogeta/Vegtio they own characters).

Vegeta had moments where he humiliated others or had it over Goku, like when Goku had a heart disease iirc and Vegeta was all smirk on a fat android he faced or when that U6 equivalent of Frieza got ******* by Vegeta, got his payback on Goku Black later, wrecked GoD Toppo in the ToP, had good moments on Jiren briefly and was briefly praised, on Moro he almost had it

That's typical fare for many shonen rivals, they do get plenty of moments to hype them up and even get to defeat a secondary/tertiary villain but when they fight the MAIN primary villain they ALWAYS fall flat lol!
It's pretty predictable and formulaic tbh.
Then Frieza killed him (again) and blew up the Earth too even tho Vegeta already knows Frieza isn't above playing dirty or resorting to underhand tactics (He literally just saw Frieza have one of his henchmen cheap shot Goku). If it wasn't for Whis ex machina, the RoF arc would've ended differently plus these days Frieza is freely terrorising U7 last time I checked, so who truly "won" in the end?
This all just proves Vegeta is (unfortunately) one of the most popular worfs in fiction. He gets plenty of hype moments to big him up (a new transformation or technique) then he loses to the main villain on schedule and it repeats ad nauseam yet we still continue to eat it all up lol!

Piccolo vs MMH is inevitable but 17 vs Cyborg? Does 17 even hack into computers? Despite the stompiness 17 is better fit against Genos and War Machine which... We have had Genos vs War Machine. 17 is better fit against a robot/cyborg/armored fighter which mostly rely on brawls rather than technopathy.

The issue is mostly 17 being boring in vs. He is generic DBZ character with a shield. Thats it. He worked as a sort of straight man in ToP but his movekit is so bland.

These two matchups are almost delivering similar verdicts.
You still remember how Sam Nova almost lost to Cletus Casidy the "street villain" Carnage of all enemies.

He really isn't like come on Gohan about the same as your average DB character in terms of moveset
