1. Madoka Kaname is not even extending to 1-A while most high tier deities at SMT are...
2. Thematic connections? How is Dagda notable for wish granting and manipulating humans to accomplish "world saving" missions at the cost of human lives?
3. We have Nanashi at 1-A sure... And so is Demiurge and Ren Amamiya who defeated it... but may I ask: why is Maruki Takuto only 1-C and not 1-A when Aigis and even Masayoshi Shido is?
3.1. This may change the verdict of Noel Vermilion vs Aigis...

Knuckles' climbing is a basic ability for him, probably not.

I do wonder, has DB ever been referenced in official media?

I also wonder if DBS universe clash happened due to DB's GvS1 lol

Even a weaker Thor (except depowered Odinson) is still normally faster than anything in Akira universe.

Although Tetsuo can still avoid being killed by Mags if he fought Mewtwo, Shinji Ikari, Accelerator or K9999 instead.

so going by last year's template, we got 3D opener followed by 3 sprites fights.....so if we apply this to the season, next fight would be a sprite fight, since I think they will do Boba's fight to match the Kenobi hype late May, I think next episode is our cartoon fight of the year. I'm expecting Jimmy vs Dexter, but I can actually see Bill vs Discord, due to their "bigger villains" thingie. Also, the 3rd sprite fight of last season was a unteased fight (HeiGeese), so next fight should be an unteased fight as well.
 
I won't list fights that fit under the "bigger heroes" umbrella, else we'd be here all day. But looking over the popular villain fights, and restricting it only to either games and/or cartoons (since those are the two big speculated options for this point in the season), AND keeping in mind the assumption next fight after TanJojo is a sprite fight, we've got these as potential options(this isn't a definite list):

Bowser vs Eggman: Probably not. Little too big for a random slot like this, .
Bill vs Discord: No comment.
Nolan vs Bardock: No comment.
Cinder vs Azula: No comment
Skeletor vs Mumm-ra/Lord Zedd: Mumm-ra's the legacy pick, but also isn't as known to casuals as Zedd and has the whole "villain version of a hero fight" going on that has Thawne go up against GB instead of Scourge.
Gru vs Megamind: I'll place my now. If it's a cartoon fight, it'll be this one.
Ridley in general: Dread did quite well last year, so while Ridley maybe isn't super relevant, Metroid in general definitely is. Vilgax is whatever, Vile is based, Rayquaza can step on a Lego.
Vilgax in general: No comment.
