gilgamesh is immune to most dooms hax through that authority (nasu you make your characters damn powerful/immune to most hax)

My Thoughts: Honestly seeing this MU happening had me go WTF really?
especially when you consider that Saitama story isn't over as of now it's seems odd to do this now when they stated they wanted to wait on it to be over.
Moving on I like this MU. When you look at most of Saitama MU spreads, they're all shit frankly... not a single one outside of Popeye that doesn't me feel Bleh or **** NO to being done
Popeye didn't have much beyond simple ToonForcers fights so Saitama was frankly the best he got to get on the show
Plus, it introduces another new franchise on the show and an ICON like Popeye which is based
Animation Potential: The Potential for this fight is definitely high, both characters are brawlers, so you don't have to do too much however the biggest challenge is the humor. How will DB mash OPM Style of comedy with Popeye Style especially in 3D given MadAizen was the last sprite fight of this season.
The Comedy could work at the start before escalating into a serious fight midway. Hopefully it captures what Saitama wants which is a good fight and I hope the fight captures that well. outside of Saitama vs Hulk every fanmade fight involving Him as always has him stomping his opponents like Goku and Superman and treating them like jokes

Their talking about how over the top they'll take the fight animation.
Obviously, they can't go as bonkers as Hulk vs Broly since Saitama ain't destroying dimensions and shit although Popeye can.
That being said, the Saitama vs Boros fight was still mega hype even though it mostly takes place in and around Boros' ship so as long as they emphasize speed and impact and use a liberal amount of motion blur, it'll look good.

OPM wank (and Saitama wank) has died down mostly.
One thing I still cannot get out of myself: Why on Prime Earth will Liam Richard Swan be hyped of this Saitama vs Popeye more than even DIO vs Alucard? They have (since the Carnage vs Lucy sneak peek and with a Community Death Battle) ample time to realise what Saitama and Popeye are capable of and which place they belong to.
