You know what's pretty sad? Omni-Man vs Bardock came out on October 6th, over a month ago, and yet Eggman vs Bowser has exceeded OmniDock's total view count in TWO days. It's probably going to be at 2 million by the start of or the end of tomorrow.
Obviously one million views in general is nothing to scoff at, but the fact EggOwser has exceeded OmniDock in a few days is quite telling of the latter's shit quality.

Reading the DB Cast comments, saw something interesting:
Sportacus pedaling to the moon, charging his ship with pedal power (How much energy to fuel that?), stopping his own airship with his arms, stopping an aircraft with his arms (On separate line, is it a different aircraft?) are the interesting ones, IMHO.
All right I’ll do my best to list the calculable feats (from my memory)
Sportacus first
He knocked an apple to the moon in under 30 seconds
Powers his own vehicles like The flying cycle around the entire city in under 10 seconds
Pedales to recharge the battery of his big ship that doubles as a base and spaceship
However he is so healthy that usually when he drives he uses the manual mode to make it basically a big as bicycle that can fly
And once pedaled fast enough to go from Lazy town to France to China and back to Lazy Town in under 3 hours
And even faster how he got to the moon in a similar timeframe
Let me repeat this… Sportacus used a bicycle based device to get to the moon in well under mid day
That is way faster than Space X
He stopped his weird cycle airship with his arms while it was controlled by Robbie Rotten
He stopped an aircraft with his arms
And hold a Pyramid to collapsing by acting as a human pilar
He is agile enough to cross the entire city in under 5 minutes
Fast enough reflexes to play ping pong with himself with some beautiful gymnastic moves along the way
And played Soccer against an entire team of villains with just two kids as help
Also he gets WAY STRONGER when he eats an sport sweet
His favorites are Apples and gets twice as strong and agile
Yujiro is not less weird
He Shake an entire building with his rage alone
Destroyed an entire arena made of concrete
Killed an elephant with a punch
Punches at speeds close to Mach 1
Kicked a guy about 10 meters off the ground
Walked! Yes WALKED his way into reinforced bulletproof glass
Survived being punched through a wall
And the fall from over 5 floors with no visible damage
Not to mention he was still stronger than Baki and Pickle for a while
The same Baki who defeated Oliva face to face
A guy who was stopping two helicopters of moving
And that was just part of his daily training
And the same Pickle who not only fought with Dinosaurs but took a hit that broke the sound barrier to the face
And was just back up more pissed than damaged
And the weirdest is that he apparently stoped a 6 Magnitude earthquake with a single heavy hit
While it’s unclear how he did this
Apparently he just punched the ground in an opposite frequency of the earthquake with equal power
Like sound cancelation in modern headphones
Wich implies he can make 6.0 earthquakes with a punch without using his super form
Also he had his own power up in the Demon Black
Basically he goes twice as strong but gets him tired
Well as tired as breaking a sweat is for him

He killed several soldiers on Bowser's side (Including King Bob-Omb, who is considered a important part of his army), so it wasn't totally spiteful, in my opinion
He was just took out fast because either the DB team didn't had too much ideas of how they should handle his presence on the battle or they just wanted to give a spotlight for the other members of the Eggman Empire

I just thought of another nice piece of detail in Eggman vs Bowser, though I'm not the first one to point this out so this isn't original.
When King Boo is shown being bored during Bowser's "wedding" and actively laughing at his allies caught in the effects of the Phantom Ruby, I think it's meant to convey that King Boo is an ally of Bowser's but isn't absolutely loyal to him. I mean when one considers King Boo's schemes in the Luigi Mansion's series and how they clearly go against Bowser's own interests, one can argue that King Boo is allies to Bowser but is powerful to do his own thing without the input of Bowser.

I'm guessing since time was an issue (from the storyboards, an entire sequence showing the Koopalings jumping into action and from a tweet from the animator, a proper fight between Fury Bowser and Super Metal Sonic), all that could be done was for Infinite was a quick display of his abilities with the Phantom Ruby and then taking him to showcase other members of Eggman's group (as you say, the sequence does display some good results from Infinite, but it's so quick that it's hard to tell from a single view). I think they just used the Thwomp for a quick funny sequence and nothing more, and nobody in the team expected for it to explode like that among fans.
I mean, Metal being such a big player makes sense, imo. He's essentially Eggman's own Sonic, so of course Metal is gonna be hypercompetent. Even Sage's participation, though by no means insignificant, was rather modest all in all.

Yeah. Though the fact that Bowser has Boos under his leadership would indicate that King Boo and Bowser have an alliance going on where they allocate their resources and forces between themselves.

I think the biggest thing I'm curious about going forward for not only Death Battle, but VS at large? I do wonder if Death Battle will ever get true competition, and who the best option would be for such a thing to arise.
My current proposition is that perhaps Hyunn's Dojo is the best choice to produce a competitor show, but who knows.

Hmmm... well, I could be completely wrong, but my two cents:
There are quite a bit of shows around, but the smaller budget really makes a difference: more modest presentation, much more sporadical releases, etc. This is even if the research in those shows is pretty detailed (regardless of personal agreement or not).
IIRC, while by no means the first, Death Battle came out when VS debating was really a small thing and there wasn't really another proper show about it (deadliest warrior maybe?) so it allowed it to take off big time, and even then the first season of Death Battle was pretty rough in general.
My personal take: I don't think there will be a proper competitor in terms of popularity for now. Since Death Battle came at the right time to take the momentum and grow into a big show with many talents behind to make VS Debating a spectacle. The others are much more modest in nature and only seem to reach to people who is actively into VS debating, rather than casual viewers who just want to watch something fun.
