The mountain warps space and time, it is actually bigger than our universe. It is so big that someone who is quintillion times the speed of light would take hours to cross it. That and it is full of enemies that can fight you at quintillions of times faster than light so in the end a journey to the mountain top might take days, months even.
...all of that for my omniversal queen Reimu Hakurei to blitz and reach the mountain in an attosecond. She would solve all of Kratos problems in a single night.
