DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (2024–2025) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

It is insane how much Mr.Justice is a opposite of Super Scott and taanked so many punch when super scott became furious at this "mockery" of a super hero

Already heard of it but never got into it

What it is about?
Basically, its about a 13-year old boy using his hero comic books (magical ones) to do good. he got his first man bc his friend failed to hustle the comic book store manager goth gurl and got a "E-Tier" comic book "(crying man" bc he was broke.

Thats what he does around the first two episodes but it ramps up with more complex stuff getting throwned into a mix, but it is hilarious if you think about it

I'm so glad I remembered this guy before I went to bed:

Now we have a comedic superhero who can even beat Omni-Man!

....Well, super"hero". (& also he's from "adult" animation, too. Think "adult" like Family Guy being dark. Wait, no, IIRC, it can be worse than even that.)

A shame High 5-A stomps Low 5-B.

Its funny when Captain Hero's most paired match up is a squirrel when hes basically Homelander on steroids

i feel it partially due to not having the require resources to do the mu justice at those time and thinking some of mu will last awhile in popularity by the time they'll do it
otherwise idk
Giorno vs joker didnt last much despite having a popular jojo character after the anime

Sometimes its better to do them during their peak popularity, makima vs gojo did well cuz of that

Hey we DID get an AOT MU at that series' peak, and it's one of the worst-viewed episodes despite being fairly requested. How do we know Eren vs Ken would be any better?
An AoT character vs a rwby character and hyped as "eating like kings", especially doing it in 3D, despite the previous one made more sense to do especially given the recent models matching too and all

Its not the same case as Eren vs Kaneki here

Ironically BlakeMikasa has not done that well in views lol

But looking back, even 1 mil in a week seems to be good enough, so DB has done well enough... even if JokerGiorno & AmongusFallguys have done not that well either still. At least they passed the litmus test that is MachomanKoolaidman in views :V

Even MMKAD got like 500k in a day. Looking at some averages, YT Sponsorships seemingly pay at min 10 dollars per 1000 views, so thats easy 10k for nigh-all DB eps, and this is minimum, they should make more. Esp. since KS funded eps till 2026, every single current money flow will fund eps a lot of eps, likely into 2028. And DB actually has 6 mil+ subscribers, so they def should get better deals. Not to mention DB Casts and YT ad money too, that KS seriously seemed to future proof DB if there are no other factors to think.

They said KS just helped them get back on feet and that they got plans after those, though given it takes a month roughly now, its gonna be a while till we get there

I'm sorry, but using Mikasa for the match was a huge mistake. Even if you touch on statistics and entertainment, this is a superhuman with powerful weapons and not the most impressive speed. The outcome of this match was obvious. The peak of popularity also came at the finals, and pay attention to the number of fan animations of "Rumbling vs" to understand that the match with Eren was incredibly popular a year or two ago.

Difference is folks actually care and Like Eren and Kaneki while they didn't gave a shit about RWBY much less Blake and while Mikasa is among the more popular AOT character she was never gonna carry her to a good showing adding the fact the episode was mid didn't help matters

I still cant believe they actually remixed the 64 castle them into a creepy, unsettling one in brothership, the worst part iit is during where fake peach talk to the mario brothers & convince them to stay, you have the choice to stay or press on.

This is so cool

Mikasa vs Blake is good for DBX or a short episode without analysis, but not as a full-fledged fight.
In principle, their only opportunity to catch the AoT train is Requiem coming out.
Funny that 2 youtubers who are big rwby fans, were the most excited of that MU, granted they dont care how well it performed overall as it was basically their dream match and they are casuals so

Ironically HulkDoomsday was kinda failure since it got copyright block that they couldnt fix it and thus lost YT money from it :V

What was the main points?
Main points he made were that Buuhan's vice shout shouldn't count as something he scales to directly since all he did was make a bunch of holes in the universe which would've caused other dimensions to breach through and destroy the universe, and that the movies shouldn't be considered as part of the same canon as the toei anime (Bringing up how the 7th movie in particular was even stated to take place in a parallel world).

Don't have any real opinion on the Buuhan stuff, but I do agree with him about how bizzare the sites handling of Toei Dragon Ball and all the movies are.

He argues DBS Goku should be multiversal by this point after battle of gods event

Manga buu arc shouldnt be stuck at solar system level, be universal cuz apparently there were claims for it stated

The buu which vegito fights shouldnt be low multi in the anime version with his feat, says what he did was basically the equivalent of punching a DAM which does the dmg to the rest around

And that given dbs gave the idea of U7 being a thing, it shouldnt apply to z era whom didnt count the cosmology as such and he affected just the living universe only anyway, something about vice shout thats its used to argue tier 2, but manga and kai use that too and that at this point it gotta make up its mind where buu saga scales

Toei continuity isnt accurate to claim all movies are canon to gt and dbz anime, cuz the movies are stated in various things they are made as their own thing or are alternate realities unrelated to anything and cuz contradictions exist between them which are shrugged off and that cameos like cooler in gt isnt proof of canonicity and its just that version of the character unrelated yada yada

True

Pretty hard to argue uni Buu via manga given the lack of feats to support being anything beyond overtime
Best hope for any upscaling Buu saga characters be in Daima at best

I can understand his point of it and it's not baseless however Vegito did point Buuhan power was playing a massive role in it so it def plays apart of it in some capacity

Last one dont have much to say some may be canon some may not be otherwise don't care tbh

some joke I tried but yes, a new mascot horror game is being developed called giggleland
Ahhh. Looking at it, it looks like it has cutesy promotional materials, decent animation, but the gameplay screenshots on Steam make it look like it might have generic gameplay.
Potential, I guess?
