Yeah, I remember that Xenoblade stuff too...Something like this, but for Xenoblade. The amount of times I've seen people take pre-Zanza arc Monado II out of context to justify T1 rankings is more than a little annoying, when they fail to take into account the fact that Apocrypha was a thing, and that reliance was what got Egil jobbed in his dying days on the Mechonis (Bionis/Mechonis actually scale to planets as is, give or take some pixel scaling/leeway). Shulk even lampshades the fact that he didn't fully comprehend the power he had at that point in the story when he says "I don't know much about any [Zanza's] curse".
This isn't to say that a T1 Xeno peak doesn't exist, but it gets to be overly capricious to plaster all of the T1/T2 ratings all over the pages over some lore interpretations that, while potentially cogent, are better substantiated and applied at the end of it's stories rather than at it's midpoint.
Sods law @CloverDragon03 and @JoshSSJGod will spit me out for these takes, though
