Apotheosis: Heaven's Cry: Game Thread

[Anyone who hasn't already split off from the Main group]

Someone lands on the ground nearby, having dropped from a tall building and caused quite the impact on landing.

"... That was the most facinatingly boring thing I have ever seen. Wow. A guy comes up to you offering Genocide and you just spout about the value of life and crap? Is that your best idea for what to do with superpowers?

As you look over... Well, isn't that quite the outfit.

Trenchcoat, sunglasses, very poorly concealed and, from what you can descern, excessively overdesigned handgun at his side, and to top it all off, his brown hair in a mullet.

As Zephyr runs across the ocean and her destination is in range, it feels... Something is very wrong, with what they are witnessing. People gathered in the streets, yelling something she's not quite close enough to descern yet.
Dao, seeing the commotion in the street near the restaurant, walks out unnoticed.

"Hello... what is your name?"

Soon, under the thunderous foot falls of thousands of soldiers, the entirety of the Siberia region is subjugated, and all able bodied men were turned into soldiers as well.

By this point, the lone survivors she left from every city served to alert the government of the goings on. This resulted in a massive operation to stop her, under the guise of a foreign invasion having been mounted against them. Try as they might, tanks, guns, planes, none seemed to have any sort of effect, leading her to wonder if this was humanity's limit.

All of their vehicles were crushed and twisted by waves of force coming from her as her eyes changed. The foot soldiers joined her and turned on their own people. With each person subsumed and added to the hivemind, Serena feels more and more that she isn't entirely herself anymore, but she can't place why.

As she heads to Moscow, she hits the breaking point. All the minds swirling around in her own, combined with the earlier dream voice coming back make her question her sanity.

"Stop!"

With her declaration, her men indeed stop, affirming her control over them. In addition, however, her eyes start to bleed, and the snow around her melts, and a wave is emitted from her. The very ground itself is set ablaze, the trees and buildings become ash, and a large part of, if not all of Russia itself is quickly being consumed and turned into a scorching sea of flame. After this event however, she notices her head clear up, unclouded by the thousands within, leading her to look around, somewhat in shock as she returns to her makeshift bunker.

Tyrus turns as he is just about to leave given everything's died down at this point, but waits when this strange person lands in front of us. "What do you mean boring? Stopping a Geocidal maniac is a classic" said Tyrus to the strange person.

“What? Descriptive of what?”

“Ugh...I was the man who you deemed a fancier version of a “cult”. If you are talking about the duel, it’s simple. The fight will be win by any means necessitated, however you aren’t permitted any “teammates” to come to your assistance. Hence the term, “Duel”.”

(I was the one who deemed your actions a cult with extra steps)

"I never met you before."

He simply states.

Zephyr skid to a halt as she reached the coastline, listening to the sounds of concern. What could be going on here...?
