Snail's go from 0.013 m/s at max to 0.000023 m/s
https://hypertextbook.com/facts/1999/AngieYee.shtml
Our Calculation Guide for slo-mo calculations states that we have to assume snail speed as 0.001 m/s.
However sloths have a general speed of 0.003 mph. That's 0.00134112 m/s. So it would be...
Greetings, everyone! I hope everyone's doing well.
I am writing this CRT to upgrade Lucy's EoS Pre-Melting key from 7-C (Town Level) to High 7-A (Large Mountain Level). I have made a calculation computing the energy dissipated as Radiated Waves by Lucy's explosion using the height of the...
if we have a feat that happend in both the anime&manga of the same verse
that feat debends on pixel scaling
what do we use for pixel scaling?manga or anime?both will give different results
The visual edition of this thread.
There are crimes (not really) being committed, generally by authors of Japanese comic fiction who tend to not draw to scale, or anything with large size properly.
Self explanatory and pretty brief. I see a lot of feats on the wiki where people are wrongly...

We use vaporization whenever we see clouds of steam coming from rocks in a feat. However, vaporization is the process of going from liquid to gas, where as the thing we are actually looking for is called sublimation, going from solid to gas while skipping the liquid phase.
That said, should...
I've seen a couple of calcs that calculate AP based on the Stefan-Boltzmann law. They get the temperature of an object and its surface area and then enter those values into this calculator. However, I don't think this is really a valid way to find AP. This is because the surface temperature of...
Hi. Hmm, I've seen some calcs using the wikipedia page about Particle Beam to use the "near the speed of light" statement. The most recent was with Devil May Cry franchise. Let's take a look at this calculation here
In some discussion, an image of some Devil May Cry's guide was posted saying...
So, gonna wall o text a bit about Infinite's feat at the end of Sonic Forces. Its currently accepted that the sun he created was a mini-one on the deviant art calc here:
https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Numbersguy/Infinite_makes_light
which sounds like nonesense since if we take...
This is the official thread for requesting calcs to be done by the members of the Calc Group and other senior editors.
However, this help is entirely optional, and the people who do the requesting cannot expect that anybody will somehow be automatically interested in doing the requested calcs...
This is a small change, but I haven't seen any sources for Rigel being 23x the Sun's mass. Assaltwaffle said he got it from an astronomy book, but he can't remember where he actually saw it. I have made a recalc on the subject. I would like thoughts on this.
EDIT: Updated the calc with a chart...
So with an unobstructed view, we can see up to 20 kilometers right? Well I've been noticing quite a bit, characters who travel so far that they completely fade into the sky, no longer able to be seen due to how far they are. I was wondering if it would be possible to calculate, and apply a speed...
I read this manga yesterday and this happened, is it possible to calc the speed of what he did? He traveled to most parts of the world and killed a lot of people within a short time frame.
In the previous thread, various members discussed the usefulness of a common feats page for the wiki. With help from Ugarik, Spinosaurus75dinosaurfan, ArbitraryNumbers, DontTalkDT, I, and various members were able to calculate, evaluate, and create a reference for common feats page.

Those are the current angular size formulas we use:
Angle: 2*atan(tan(70/2)*(object height/panel height))
Distance: object size*panel height/[object height*2tan(70/2)]
Size: 2tan(70/2)*distance*object height/panel height
These formulas are correct HOWEVER "tan(70/2)" means tangent of 35...
I know that we already made a calc for 1st Prize rushing people, but why not Gotta Sweep? He... It's taller than 1st Prize, and seems to be stronger, as it can sweep 1st Prize out of it's way along with all the other characters. Gotta Sweep also seems to be faster than 1st Prize. I think that...
I did a calc for a creation feat and got 20.3002408446 metric tons. What would this translate to in AP? (It was likely done using Magic, meaning it would probably scale to AP)

So what are we suppose to do when the feat has bad drawing? In this Deadpool feat, the Hoover Dam's Parapets are shown to be almost as large as a 18 wheeler trailer truck in a few angles, in others it's barely as big as a normal car. In real life however the Hoover Dam's Parapets are 40 feet...
This is not my original idea, it can be found in Mand21's comment here .
Quoting the entire comment for convenience:
Haven't I protested the 4-A rating before? The Sun has a lower GBE than Alpha Centauri's so you should be using the Alpha Centauri's GBE to calculate 4-A from the mean point...
To be frank, our value is wrong. I'm not sure if the original source measured in Kilojoules or something, but the Latent Heat Vaporization of Water is 2,264,705 joules/kg.
Wikipedia lists it as such and here is a scientific journal citing the same. While the full article isn't visible, luckily...
Well, it's a bit strange how we treat some calcs:
For exemple, Mio Takamiya is 6-B+ when she destroyed a large part of the eurasia alongside somes countries Such as soviet union and china at the same time, the feats in the Light Novel is clearly at least Large Country level but we treat this...
Then these calculations were accepted by two of the calc members. I asked other calc member people to evaluate, but this did not happen, Ant asked me to do a CRT, so here we are.
Pro calculation of Mimihagi needs to be debated which end will be used. In Liltotto, one must debate who scale together.
Well, this thread will not enjoy everyone but it's needed for a Safe naruto tiering profiles.
Gallavant, our calc members has recalced some naruto feats which is, according to him, inflated or wrong, in summary:
The first calc: He recalced the Bijuu Dama feats which make all bijuu at High 7-A...
Previous thread.
Kinetic energy can be used in some cases when the water is blown back, but if not...
This site Kepekley23 linked helps.
10,000 psi is 689 bar
An explosion with 100m radius underwater would have a yield of:
W = 100^3*((27136*689 + 8649)^(1/2)/13568 - 93/13568)^2 = 97.286...
I know this topic has been discussed to death but it's pretty important for the verse, it's related to scaling the size of the planet from the size of the roots of the god tree as i did here...
This is the current calc we use for fully evolved pokémon, yielding the value of 531 megatons. But...
The calculation for GPE resulted in 2.223571967e+18 joules, 3x lesser than the value of 6.6707171e+18 joules in the calc.
But the value of 2.223571967e+18 joules translate to 531 megatons, as...
Well I asked a friend, what was the formula of water creation, he answered "Kg x 2615810" and called it inverse vaporization, does anyone know where this value comes from 2615810?
And if anyone knows, please send the source. ;-;
Well it seem that we accept Two Explosion formula for calculate an explosion with the Radius:
R = Y^(1/3)*0.28 with R as the radius of the explosion.
and
W = R^3*((27136*P + 8649)^(1/2)/13568 - 93/13568)^2 with R as the radius of the explosion and P is the pressure of the shockwave in bars...
Hello, VS Battles Wiki
If you do not know of my escapades, I am currently working on placing most of the Patapon characters on the wiki.
Right now, I am trying to calculate the strength of Ganodias' Cannon, which is stated to be able to fire a cannonball across the world and back.
Could...
This is pretty straight forward. Why do we use pulverization of rock value for such feats? Where is no way some soil can be as hard as pure rock.
I think found the table we can take destruction values from:
Fragmentation: (shear strength of meduim clay)
0.05 - 0.1 J/cm^3
Pulverization...
So I'm planning to eventually start making profiles for one of my favorite obscure series from my days of youth, which has a fairly realistic setting in the sense of guns and cars and stuff. I was just wondering if there was one page with general guidelines on a realistic setting so I don't have...

I found some articles online https://www.grc.nasa.gov/www/k-12/airplane/lifteq.html https://sciencing.com/calculate-lift-rotor-blades-7680704.html
They are about how to calculate the speed and the force needed to lift something like it was a helicopter
The formula is:
L = ┬¢ ¤üv2ACL. L is in...
Last I remembered, Santa only had eight reindeer.
I went to this website for the song that talks about these eight reindeer:
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow
Gave a luster of mid-day to objects below.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But a miniature sleigh and eight...
