My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

Did anyone saw the lady who looks like lady demitrescu in the 4th movie trailer? I also noticed that the villains their seem to be wearing a rose like pin in their cloth, this kind of make it seem like they are some court or something.

Their was also a girl who looks like the same age as the UA first year student and from her expression it looks like she doesn't wanna even be among the villain group. From the look of things it look like she's lady demitrescu look alike daughter or ace card.

From the translation I saw, deku was asking the all might look alike if he think he is all might and dude practically called him self dark might. Maybe dude is going by to become a hero you have to be a villain 🤔.

Am really interested in seeing how this goes.

and what quirk would it that be? if somehow through the events of the story he obtains his own quirk through the quirk singularity theory then I can see the last embers of OFA doing that for his struggles and loss.
 
Honestly, I'd rather Deku fight without arms for the rest of the war, it would give more meaning to his "sacrifice".

Also, that little panel with flames clearly implies that at least he has the embers left, so I wouldn't worry about Deku having to rely on some kind of new awakening Quirk in order to fight, that would be Deus Ex Machina.

Most likely the next chapter will focus on how Aizawa and the others got to that place at the end of the previous chapter.. which is the kind of chapter I hate the most, but hopefully something cool happens.

He can lift very small objects.
 
I guess he isn't staying armless for long... oh well that's fine too, it would be awkward to draw Deku fighting without arms.
 
So this is the set-up for the finale. Deku’s arms need 3 minutes to be fully healed, meaning it’s up to the side characters to stall a Quirks Sealed AFO+Shigaraki till Deku is ready. Pretty good final task. Also the line “Deku, seeing you work so hard makes us want to do our best” is a perfect culmination of everything as that is literally what Deku wanted his hero name to be after Uraraka said it. We’re gonna have an amazing finale, I just know it, I’ve already been blown away by the epicness of Deku vs Shigaraki and now we get another round against AFO, this is peak

Can’t wait to see the end of MHA boys, so let’s all enjoy it together

So I guess it's a countdown. 3 Minutes for Deku to heal while everyone holds back AFO. I guess 3 minutes for AFO to un-nerf himself. Hope its 100% RAW Ofa Deku vs AFO with all his quirks back in order. So we get more crazy shit.

As expected, we're getting a flashback to explain how all of this happen. Shirakumo isn't completely back, it's implied this is just very temporary. But the memories unleashed are enough for them to use him to transport all available heroes who can still fight to the battlefield.

I'm a bit surprised that we aren't getting to see the last battlefield against Gashly, but I'm glad we're skipping it. We don't really need to see it since these characters are going to be going against Shigaraki anyway. And we see that Aizawa did indeed go to the U.A. Evacuation Site.

Eri breaking off her horn so the stored up energy can be used to rewind Izuku's arms is pretty gnarly, I'm not going to lie. Though, she had Ectoplasm do that part. Izuku's arms will grow back but it'll take 2 or 3 minutes, which means that's how long they have to hold off All For Shiggy until Izuku's ready to fight.

So lots of people are coming in to help, to list off who I've seen coming to this battlefield.

For the students I see Cellophane, Tailman, Sugarman, Chargebolt, Grape Juice, Creati, Tentacole, and Anima.

If we're going to include the characters we saw jump Gashly, there's also Lizardy and Jack Mantis

There are a bunch of unnamed Pro Heroes or people I don't recognize, but I saw Death Arms, Gang Orca, Burnin, and Sirius (Selkie's sidekick). Ectoplasm is likely here as well.

So yeah, this is going to be an intense 2 to 3 minutes. Aizawa can't hold his Erasure for that long without blinking, but All For Shiggy doesn't have Decay anymore. As such, it's possible for some of these guys to lose their Quirks now that getting touch isn't instant death. I don't know if that will happening, just saying how it's possible.

A perfect setup chapter to explain how the end of last chapter happened, and for the big fight that's about to happen. There is a break so the next chapter isn't coming until 2 weeks, so we're going to have to wait a bit longer before the start of the actual final battle.

Curious to see how strong All For Shiggy is right now.
