Yeah. Everyone knows that there isn't an official statement of 58x. The entire thread is discussing whether the multipliers from the graph is usable.

And whether that's true or not has zero relevance to the message that you responded to. Which was about changing the standards so that getting multipliers from the graph would be allowed.

It would be both an infringement on another person's copyright, and its own copyrighted work. You wouldn't steal the rights of the stuff you used without permission, but you would retain rights to new characters/concepts, and the actual text you wrote.

Why wouldn't it be comparable? The other verse I'm talking about had in-verse statements, and this OPM thread is using an in-verse graph with some vaguer in-verse statements.
