Last I checked, if you have a good enough weapon, spraying and praying isn't exactly an effective strategy in either game for the Helldivers.
You know the Zerg? Imagine getting jumped by 5000 mutalisks. Spraying and praying is a good strategy in the crazier EDF sections.

The “solar system level scaling” is a weapon that was dropped off over time by literally tens of millions of helldivers. That eventually destroyed a planet over time.
Their typical weapons are pea shooters. Their “tank” is light armor in a lot of places. I know because I played both games. EDF if a lot more unrealistic.

Hundreds of hours. And I am far from the only person who thinks this. Ask any Helldivers fan group and they will tell you EDF would ******* shred them. Even hive lords would be trivially beaten with a mid tier EDF assault rifle.

By not having light armor vehicles that die when a bug looks at them the wrong way. By having weapons that reliably penetrate the thoughest armor. By having regular foot soldiers that send cars flying by running past them. By having call in weapons that cover half of the battlefield. By having rifles that can actually shoot more than 20 feet.

You still have to kind of aim. In EDF you can get swarmed to the point where if you throw your crosshair around like a literal chimpanzee, you're probably hitting something.

Have you played it on max difficulty? Because you're just fighting bigger lore-accurate Zerg at that point. I've seen plenty of Helldivers stuff. You don't spend anywhere near even 50% of the runtime surrounded by insects the size of literal buildings.
This shit is not your minimap in either Helldivers game unless you **** up harder than a Dwarf Slayer. And when that happens, your ass ain't getting jumped by spiders the size of houses and shit. At most they're the height of a human or a bit bigger.

When I said bile titan equivalent, I meant that’s the minimum EDF enemy. Most enemies are far, far worse.

Possibly more likely now that HD2 is getting a 40K warbond soon. Those two are at least closer in power level with Helldivers as well, where the only advantage I could see either of them having is the Guard getting by with human wave tactics or being allowed to bring in Astartes backup.
Also I know it's low-hanging fruit to complain about Reddit but I'll be damned if the Yuji fans have become entirely insufferable on the DB reddit after the G1 blog dropped.
