Idk eh Knuckles vs Donkey Kong fight still holds up Shadow vs Ryuko was decent

Dante vs Clive is such a who cares matchup no one cared for and so badly researched they had to rely on the netflix shitfest to argue Dante's stamina is crap. Which does not really matter since they gave Dante possibly the worst ftl speeds in the season.

I mean relative early Sonic fights were decent at least for their time. Problem kinda was starting S3 Shadow-Amy-Metal-Sonic getting 4 mid to bad episodes in row which did hurt and having more questionable analysis among them didnt help either. WallySonic is good besides that one dialogue and ShadowRyuko is passable average.

Their logic was that the emeralds were nebulously scaling to multiple timelines branching off the universe due to Solaris, but Bowser has a large supply of Grand Stars, with each one individually having enough juice to blow up the universe without being exhausted. So they just said they were matched at peak with equal leeway, and Bowser is stronger in base anyway.
I don’t necessarily agree with that logic (I have Mario and Sonic characters far below DB or even this wiki) but you can sort of see the internal-consistency if you squint.

They didn't scale Solaris to multi+ in the narrated description, only in the corner boxes where they acknowledged multi+ and higher dimensional arguments for both Bowser and Eggman. From what I recall, according to one of the casts, they put the Solaris feat at 12 timelines. I think in theory the idea is that the empowerment of the Grand Stars should stack

As I mentioned before Sonic episodes in the first two seasons were fine it's where s3 started things gone south
Shadow vs Mewtwo is long regarded as a terrible episode that treated shadow dirty and robbed him of a W
Amy vs Ramona was mid
Metal vs Zero was forgettable(still enjoy to some extent) but metal was robbed back then
And the cherry to the crap sundae was Mario vs Sonic 2 where sonic was screwed over badly state wise but characterization was based off how he was done in the 2010s at the time which safe to say wasn't good while fight it left alot to be desired
It wasn't until 2020s sonic episodes started to get back to being good
Wally Vs Archie Sonic had its flaws but still enjoyable
Shadow vs Ryuko was fine
Silver vs Trunks was good
Bowsegg is pretty much the Hallmark episode among the show
So yeah Sonic franchise run on DB so far was much better then it was in the last 10s

On the note of finding places in Sonic episodes where a whole point drop is warranted that sounds like a fun exercise to try. Here's my list and feel free to disagree with any of these.
Mario vs Sonic 2011 - None. Maybe you could argue Mario's death was a bit much but that's all I could think of. All around fine episode.
Luigi vs Tails - Luigi getting bodied almost the entire time. Although the weird negative space moment was sort of neat. Oh also the raddish scaling for Luigi loses a point on principle no matter how downright hilarious it is.
Shadow vs Mewtwo - The whole episode just in general.
Shadow vs Vegeta - I consider this one mostly a joke fight so it gets a pass on everything but the research, yes even the death which I consider funny rather than bad. So the research. Also I have to say while most of the fight was just Shadow in his super form wailing on Vegeta until the super form ran out the moment when Vegeta punched the moon down was decently cool.
Metal Sonic vs Zero - None. Another fine episode, maybe the worst I could argue is that Metal Sonic should have actually done some damage to Zero but that's it.
Amy vs Ramona - Amy being pissed enough to commit homicide for no reason. Like what was she so mad about lol

Trunks vs Silver - None. All around good episode.
Shadow vs Ryuko - Ryukos transformation sequence. Maybe that's a hot take but I think they botched it to the point where it looked jarring.

Mario vs Sonic 2018 - Okay I'm going to ignore Sonic punching like a dork even in his Hyper form as that's just the runner up. Sonic getting beat up by Mario in the cat suit felt like a Dorkly skit and why they felt the need to have him get kicked in the balls I will never know. Not to mention the episodes conclusion or Mario being a psycho for no reason, overall bad episode.
Bowser vs Eggman - Orbot, Cubot and Sage signing up to join the Koopa Troop five seconds after Eggmans death. I won't sugarcoat it I viscerally hate that "joke" and think it is an insult to Eggman and Sage as characters. Frankly the "plotting" thought bubble Sage has doesn't save the joke and I'd despise it just as much if Eggman won the episode and the very next scene after Bowser died was Bowser Junior and some Goombas stacking crates for the Eggman Empire or something while they don't visibly look the least bit bothered that Bowser got murdered.

Yeah. The only way things can get worse for Goku is if Cell actually did lose to Metal Sonic and then later Goku vs Sonic happened and Sonic somehow won instead of being Goku's pity win.
These Gokus have gotta stop picking fights with hedgehogs. - Boomstick in 2035 probably.
Edit: As a side note I am of the opinion that Sonic does beat Goku however when I said mentioned Sonic as a pity win I was referring to how Death Battle perceives both characters in their research.

Vegito won. So Goku has a .5 win on death battle.
Regardless, i fully believe all superman wins are just ragebait for views in cases of emergency.
