Sun-Disk just makes no sense mathematically or from a story perspective. If Omni-Man can shatter a star-sized disk, why did he need two other Viltrumites to break through a destabilized planet? Granted some could argue he is holding back or PIS - which makes no sense from a story point, but then the math also doesn't work:

I dont feel Dante's research was that bad, dunno. I kinda hate that some scenes they did show did support their reasoning. It doesnt seem that bad besides the fact that some characters and verses get off way easier.
I am curious to see how community will generally treat this result in future. Even some big MUs like HulkGodzilla are muted, but a truly problematic shit gets still talked like Sun Disk.

I think the sheer quality of the fight will mean everyone is walking away mostly happy

I didn't talk about this site or even commented on it's accuracy. There is plenty of wrong with this site and we do acknowledge it.
It's weird that you keep deflecting it to VSBW and try to defend DB's shit takes.
I mean DB can have something like Light Yagami vs Thanos with the infinity gauntlet and let Light win somehow. That may be their own opinion but it is objectively wrong and there is no defense to be made in that case.

It not even deflecting I can see why db picked the outcome in the end given for the argument going for Dante there not Iron clad full proof that shut it down that should've prevented DB leaning the other way

Some understanding for the DMC dudes; winning the Vs Bayonetta DB aside, that verse has been fighting uphill battles in the powerscaling sphere for nigh a decade now. Wall Vergil, now-retired/departed admins here undoing my initial universal revisions underhandedly right after I mentioned on my wall and took a weeklong vacation & locking the verse at 6-A for years afterward, Dante Ls in million-views OMM & MightyRaccoon videos, that bizarrely meticulously-executed fake-scan PoC embarrassment (which I didn't buy but wasn't around here to scrutinize), some half-merited/half-unmerited sweeps of downgrades a year or so back, tantalizing yet not-quite-there 5D theories, etc. Not to mention DMC being one of the few action games of its subgenre to be left on a good numbered entry that finally got the budget it deserved yet has been left in mobile-game hell for years since then.
It isn't as if the DMC dudes are outright chimping out or even saying this latest DB ep is bad overall, just frustrated that their good work -- I said "good" work like most of what's on the core cast's pages rn, not "Low 1-A cosmic awareness" or "passive time travel," if I may gently riff -- wasn't taken into account by the publications that are most popular executions of these notions & now will further have that dubious stamina notion floating around. Pretty chill here, all things considered.

One thing I will disagree with Random-Helper and a few others on, though, are the "success metrics." It was a very good animations, there were a good number of connections with Clive (although maybe Nero did have as many if not more), and I'm not sure even a "better" matchup would have raked in more views, for whatever that metric's worth.
These days, YT is rewarding mass-produced shorts slop or interminably long retention-holding hot-topic essay vids way more than Death Battle's relatively high-production middle ground. Search "vs sprite animation" right now, sort by any recent timeframe. It is almost always Sonic, Dragon Ball, Undertale, Mario, a couple of popular shonens -- not even counting the MUGEN, Tiktok Who-Would-Win edits, and AI slop making it harder to find the hidden-gem animations and maybe even the main shows now. Small miracle when independent-animator works featuring other series is anywhere near the top. Even largely-good shows such as XVX sprite fights don't rake in as many views as they deserve. It just isn't the same ecosystem as it was in the 2010s. Like I said earlier, kiddos don't have as wide of a palate these days, the Pareto principle is truer than ever and it's gonna be the top dogs such as those I mentioned and, like, Roblox getting more and more of the draw away from the others.
