It's not that Curses can only die to Soul Manip, it's the whole "Curses are literally shown to be invulnerable to Non-Cursed Energy imbued attacks" thing.

What other matchups for Pokemon VS Digimon do you guys want to see?

It seems cool as a MU, two similar characters get pit against eachother, east vs west, old vs "new", both being powered by a set of highly advanced armor. Basic, but sometimes it doesn't have to be anything more. It's better than TJ vs Jaime Blue Beetle in terms of fairness at least.
But I'd say TJ wins, not only for the Image Comics agenda, but just by taking a look at both characters' stats and the slight info provided on that blog.

Realistically Gogeta vs Omega is happening, which is next in line for DBZ slaughter line which does suck.

Pokemon vs Digimon MUs, please no. Honestly. how many good ones can you wring it out of that? Gyarados vs Seadramon? That one was mentioned by Ben long time ago but uhhhh yeah. Also Im in secret club of M2 vs BlkWarGreymon being not that good. Only 1 anime version of Blk is thematic to M2, by default BlkWarg isnt even an artificial creation. I do have soft spot for Arceus vs Milleniummon (Yggdrasil is boring), but the fact is people genuinely prefer Arceus vs Odin (Marvel) says it all.
