The only real way I honestly think Asura can is praying so that DB will do a golden tree moment for Kratos
 
The only way I see Asura winning is that DB concludes that Kratos can't permanently kill Asura and eventually Asura will outgrow Kratos and kill him.

The old G1blog brought this up to debunk it.
"It's also argued Chakravartin gets this tier from making a huge moon. The issue is that the calc compares the moon in the foreground to the idol in the background, ignoring perspective and massively inflating its size. The moon is shown in comparison to Asura’s Destructor form (which is a bit larger than Gaia in a cutscene) and is nowhere as large as this calc suggests. Calcing it this way can get barely above baseline star levels of GBE."

I think that was a similar reason for why we also got rid of it a while back (I also think we changed our standards for GBE stuff a few months after the inital upgrade so even if the size was legit it'd be like 4-A anyway).

Another reason I think the G1 blog is ass cheeks. That calc on the low end is 3B. We see a moving perception shot that shows the moon is comparable in size to Chakamartincitopants, so this star level shit is dumb

If Asura loses to Kratos, I can't help but wonder how 4Chan specifically is going to react. Given how they're likely the type of people to make a mockery of using lore and statements to justify scaling for Kratos: having Kratos win because the lore and statements scale him higher then Asura's feats wouldn't be pleasing with that mindset in particular.

It's been a long time, probably since Popeye vs Saitama, that I'm actually excited to see an episode. I have no attachment to either GOW or Asura. but I'm so eager to see what DA pulled off here. This could be an actual DEATH BATTLE animation. Like the literal ******* word/phrase/definition(?). What somebody who has no idea what DB is would imagine the concept of the show is supposed to feel and look like.
