DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Honestly they could've made the loyalty point more relevant by bringing up the whole minion spirit thing, Bowsers army can get noticable stat boosts (I think a relatively normal Goomba grew to the point of contending with the Koopalings) and gain resistances to stuff like mind control through their sheer devotion to Bowser.
Anyways there apparently a future ganondorf vs Dracula blog happening down the line
So from the latest Zelda how strong was the boss again

I posted this on the Sonic general, but since this is Death Battle related, I decided to repost this here as well. The script for the Bowser vs Eggman animation, especially the climax, has been bothering me for awhile now. So I actually bothered to think of a way to make Eggman look better while still having Bowser win. I know limitation budgets exist and all, but this is just me having fun.

It starts right after Fury Grand Star Bowser kills Super Neo and destroys the Egg Fleet. Sage cries out for Metal, but in this version Eggman only has a smug smirk. He orders Sage to take the emeralds to the Death Egg, which she complies. Bowser's troops are confused on why Eggman doesn't look panicked, which is when Eggman reveals he still has the Phantom Ruby with him. The real one.

"I told you before, you oversized turtle! Everything has been according to plan! Now behold, my reality! And it has no places for simpletons like you, vanish!"

Eggman's cockpit moves to the inside the robot, just as when the Death Egg starts to fire. The robot starts to break apart like in the actual one, but that's when the Mega Death Egg Robot from Forces pops out of his chest.

The Mega Death Egg Robot activates the Ruby like Infinite did, and proceeds to wreck house just like him but with no Thwomps to interrupt him. Bowser (already weakned because of Super Neo Metal), proceeds to fight it. However, because he tries to protect his minions from the Ruby's assault, he starts to lose since Eggman doesn't care because everything is an illusion in the first place.

Just as things looks dire, the Death Egg fires and destroys most of Bowser's army (it bothered me Eggman actually firing it at the planet since it would destroy it). Making things go from dire to a living nightmare.

Eggman-drunk on power- orders the Death Egg to fire again, except at Bowser. Sage hesitates on it, thinking it's overkill, but Eggman doesn't care and orders her to fire it anyways.

However, this distraction is what Bowser needed. Because of his efforts to protect his minions, they and Jr managed to get Kamek's wand from the knocked out magikoopa. They use it to make Bowser grow into his giant form.

"Your reality? Don't make me laugh! This reality is mine, so you vanish, scrambled eggs!"

Bowser then punches the Mega Death Robot with the black flash special, except this time they pay homage to re-make of BIS fight against Peach's castle, making the Death Egg Robot fly into space and then destroy the Death Egg right before it fires, destroying both in fireworks.

The ending is the same with Bowser's troops celebrating.

Thoughts on this rushed fanfic I thought up in thirty minutes?

If you ignore the entire ending of the game you could argue he's Multiversal via being above the 3 golden goddesses since he could seal them, and then Ganondorf scales above that due to having the Triforce of Power which by Null's own admission is >>>> his base power.

I don't buy it, Null couldn't pull off a planetary feat even with the Triforce of Power and explictly needed the full thing in order to destroy the universe... which kinda goes against him being superior to the goddesses who made the universe (And millions more lol). Null even states he can't return creation to the void without their power, and him being able to seal them away doesn't really mean anything other than he has really good sealing. Some also might argue the goddesses opting to make the world to seal him away means he was too powerful to defeat, but all we got for their reasoning to do this boils down to "Yeah we found him annoying and cringe for eating life so we made a physical world to put him in time out". In terms of raw power he's pretty much Ocarina of Time temple boss level due to being in the same ballpark as Volvagia who appears in this game as an echo)

I feel screen shots of it could help out in full

Imgur kinda a ***** for me atm to get screen shots, but this cutscene I feel is decent enough to put a dent in Null scaling to cosmic level stuff. He gets a massive amp from the Triforce of Power and his powered up rifts don't even engulf all of Hyrule with it (The rifts even slow down a bit after their inital creation), and even in terms of height we don't get much, or really any, evidence for his rifts going higher than the clouds above Hyrule.

Yeah, it's not my man. Pretty solid, and gives Eggman a bit more to do.

Wiz: "this was an extremely close fight"

-goes on to explain why x is thousands times stronger, thousands times faster, tougher and basically says nuh uh to all his abilities and hax while having a gazillion hax.

For what it's worth, by Death Battle's standards, 1,000 times IS a relatively close gap....

Apparently origin the animator is doing his own vs show
That’ll be fun to review
It’s just a one-off passion project IIRC, Ben 10 VS Jaden Yuki. The idea was started due to Origin’s dissatisfaction with Ben 10 VS Green Lantern utilizing so little of his aliens, so he decided to pull a “fine, I’ll do it myself”.

Hello Kitty, or rather, Kitty White, isn't helpless.

Besides the Japanese, official manga where she operates a mech, IIRC, there's some "Hello Kitty: Roller Rescue" game where she fights an alien invasion, & there's feats like knocking down a tree & wall-breaking even early game.

However, she suffers from small size scaling due to how "Her height is described as five apples and her weight as three apples.". Generous estimates put her at like, half a meter tall.
Though some media portrays her at different sizes, apparently.

IDK what she has via crossovers, but I'm not sure there is much even there.

Funnily enough, there might be scaling that puts her way higher via Onegai My Melody (Magic & monster of the week stuff. Has at least 1 huge meteor, there might be some planet destruction like stuff in a dream, among other things & hax.), but....
Kitty White's only appearance in that series is as someone watching it on TV in the eyecatch. She'd only scale because the other characters are her friends she regularly interacts with in other series. (Like in the Roller Rescue game.)

So I guess it depends how we treat Sanrio canon.

What kind of MUs are these?
Crocodile vs Giovanni makes sense: Both are mafia-like bosses fought early on in long running series. Crocodile has Sand Powers, Giovanni is a Ground-type specialist, especially in his gym, & as shown in his repeat appearances like in the PWT in Gen 5, & as indicated by his badge being the Earth Badge.

IDK what connections Ruby & Finn have other than being heroic protagonists.

The Frieza Force/Planet Trade Federation & The Empire from Star Wars are both organized space villain forces with a wide variety of aliens in their ranks & known for the destruction of at least 1 planet: Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, & Vader is associated with the Death Star, which destroyed Alderaan.

Hope that helps. No offense meant.
Please let me know if that was useful &/or interesting or not!

Null's the ultimate bait.

She prolly has some beyond busted stuff in more obscure media. But that doesn't take away the hilarity of seeing one of Japan's de facto mascto fo cuteness beating bona fide anime tough guy Goku.

Yu vs Yugi was a thing at one point
Yuse Fudo vs Jotaro was a thing at one point
Yu Narukami or other Yu?
First time I've heard of Yusei vs Jotaro. Most of the time I've seen Yusei go against Wes from Pokemon.

The other one I know is Yuma Tsukumo vs Geo Stellar. Can'´t remember matchups for Yuya, Yusaku or Yuga, and much less for Yudias.

Yeah, Narukami
There’s also the Devil Survivor protags for Yuya and Yuma but like, no one in the community cares about Devil Survivor unfortunately

Take Boo possession, for example. The argument comes from them possessing statues in Mario Kart, and then extrapolating they will possess all of Eggman's machines out of it.
Tbf does Eggman actually have solid counters to supernatural non-tech based control.

I always wondered if Bowser would be considered a bad guy by Sonic or not. Because when it comes to his goal of kidnapping Princess Peach and conquering the Mushroom Kingdom: yeah, there's no excuses there.

But I wonder how Sonic would react to Bowser being someone who genuinely cares about and is protective of his minions, is a genuinely good dad to his several adopted children and biological son, and, from what I've heard happens in Brothership, offers up protection and food to those who are loyal to his army.
