Also if we take “the strongest battle in the universe” more literally than we should, it would technically put him above any instance of in-training saitama using his full power, as well as the instance of tatsumaki fighting him without him knowing.

The main issue here would be deciding what version of Boros that statement applies to.
Well nobody before saitama had lasted long enough to see his meteoric burst, and considering that he had the strongest in the universe title before the fight, it’s likely that this applies to released Boros
but it would certainly apply to meteoric burst at least

To be honest, the story put a very strong emphasis on Boros being Saitama's strongest enemy (After Garou). I would not consider the indications of the strongest in the universe as trash just because at that time Orochi had not yet been invented.

Boros scaling above Orochi can make sense, but ultimately as mentioned before the statements made regarding thst power are just ultimately from old sources.

There's been to many changes and adjustments for easy scaling.

Well, that's why the proposal was a "possibly"... But that's old news now, Boros being above Tatsu has way more chance of being legit

I'm not a fan of "possibly" ratings, but like I said with the Orochi stuff, it's certainly better than nothing, even though I'd personally prefer a solid rating or "likely" instead

If it's for Released Boros then we can just tack it on the justification I guess.

Now we're talking

Yeah, I'm also perfectly fine with Boros being above Tatsumaki based on those statements, but as mentioned above, I rather go with Released Boros or Meteoric Burst Boros for that scaling, since we don't know what version of him owns the statement (More likely his "normal" state which is his Released self)

Considering how released Boros’ Final Flash seemed to do similar damage to a meteoric burst punch, I doubt that one form is 300x stronger than the other to begin with.

Is the guidebook a good enough source for a full on scaling?

Cause if not "Likely" would be what I'm on board with
it's canon, and they do repeat that he's the strongest in the universe 3 times, so it's probably safe
but I honestly don't care if it's a possibly, likely, or full rating at this point
I'd definitely keep the Armored Boros outside of this tbh.

Released Boros definitely scales though.
yeah
although in my eyes armored boros is already way more durable than orochi, just solely for taking saitama's normal punch...but I can't really get enough proof of that at the moment.

I don't understand the arguments.
It doesn't matter if boros was strong for that Saitama's standards Because the Garou fight confirms he constantly grows more powerful And if the whole CD thing is true then he can one shot his older self Looking at it like that him stomping Orochi or calling him weak or anything is irrelevant for boros scaling For the simple fact that Saitama is orders of magnitude stronger than he was against boros.

As for the argument used to scale his ass to Tatsumaki... I could use the exact same argument to scale his ass above Blast or even God, being stated to be the strongest in the universe is irrelevant when there are several unknown entities (who are obviously stronger) one of which amps PsychOrochi and Tatsumaki still slaps them.

And don't say "they aren't in the universe", God himself is in the planet as we see him when flash and Saitama are traveling underground or when we see his back in the moon

Ngl this is a sad attempt to wank the fodder

Too bad this isn’t an Orochi crt anymore!
By the way, had you been paying attention you would have took note that saitama’s AD was linear when he wasn’t fighting Garou
and linear AD for someone who’s that strong would literally not make any noticeable difference in a year, let alone like a month.

Had you been paying attention, you would know that Blast wasn’t even in the universe at that time, and God is literally sealed in another dimension. You are literally not making any sense whatsoever by bringing up Psykorochi, because they literally did not exist at the time
they’re also weaker than tatsumaki, who Boros is scaling above…..what are you doing?
And don't say "they aren't in the universe", God himself is in the planet as we see him when flash and Saitama are traveling underground or when we see his back in the moon
He’s sealed 🗿 please read the manga.

It's just this wiki's mentality which stops obvious stuff through insane mental gymnastics here, really.
We have 3 overlooked guidebook statements quite directly stating Boros is stronger than tatsumaki
If someone actually manages to make a coherent counterargument to that, then I’d genuinely be impressed with Boros downplay for once.

Tbh you can add the fact that Tatsumaki barely damaged Boros' ship, while Boros casually messed it up in his Released form, to add more weight to the argument.

So you have in total:
  • Saitama calling Boros strong while completely ignoring Tatsumaki
  • Lack of proof of Tatsumaki being able to so similar amount of damage to the ship on a similar degree Boros did
  • The guidebook statement
  • Saitama being unfazed already from Tatsumaki before breaking his limiter.

I wouldn't use Tatsumaki not causing that much damage to the spaceship as an argument, since she wasn't going all out

We’ll be didn’t completely ignore tatsumaki, and tatsumaki wasn’t really trying when she damaged the ship
Boros being almost a real fight works way better for orochi since he very clearly saw orochi as a weakling, but tatsumaki doesn’t have really get same treatment
Can we prove that she would do shit comparable to liquifying it with few blows?
Well she was holding back so, it’s not an anti feat or anything

Point is, we have the guidebook statements, so the other things don’t matter right now

Tbh I'd make Boros just scale above Tatsumaki with that statement in the AP justification, as Orochi was introduced later and would cause issues (unless Boros > Cosmic Garou too).

Well we have definitive proof that Boros is weaker than cosmic Garou so that’s not really something that would count for anything
what I am saying is that we’re just gonna keep this a tatsumaki thing anyways
All we really need is for a mod to be notified right now

What I mean is that we should keep Orochi out of this and focus only on Tatsumaki for simplicity's sake.

“strongest in the universe” is a selfproclaimed title, such as geryuganshoop being the strongest esper, are we just scaling gery above tatsumaki aswell now?
Also, even boros’ soldiers said that they have NEVER met a planet so strong as the earth before, so they truly believed that their army was the strongest potency in the universe, but this means nothing, and cannot be used to scale boros above Tatsumaki.
As i said, even the soldiers said that the ship had never faced such a tough planet before.
