The joke is that Wiz started the episode downplaying Spongebob and saying he's actually anti-toonforce and the it ends with him stating Spongebob can beat comics Aquaman and agreeing with Boomstick that he beats Goku lol

It's kinda bullshit that they used superfriends aquaman since by their logic comic aquaman would have gotten the same result only difference is that it would have been a loss for mainline DC.

I was basically saying I wanted the show to focus less on multipliers unless absolutely needed, because it just opens another avenue for debate and causes a lot of needless infighting. Particularly given exactly what the "best way to do it and how high you should go" varies based on communities. As well as the fact we originally used them more to give benefits of the doubt either for or against the Dragon Ball character, rather than being treated as an exact science. Granted most higher end multipliers are generally accounted for in some way in research, even if they don't make it into the episode.

I've had many situations where people try give me paragraphs and paragraphs of arguments to add millions of extra multipliers to characters because of training, or timeline or vague statements. Not to mention a lot of the new forms don't have any multipliers at all, so they kinda just have to be made up, which generally makes them more subjective.

I brought up Vegeta specifically because the show basically could have written the segment about Ultra Ego differently, and just vaguely said "it could be millions of times stronger" or something, then leaned into Thor's speed/god blast for the verdict, rather than giving a specific number that could be debated. Even if we follow the specific reasoning of one specific group of people, that might not stop others from saying it should still be done a different way, so trying to avoid that makes sense to me. For example you could probably just say "Gohan is many time stronger than baseline universal" when pitting him against opponents he obviously stomps.

I really REALLY hope early 4Chan talk isn't the direction DB forum talks will evolve into in the future.

That DB hates Dragon Ball.

I really REALLY don't want to see that like next 6 months to a year or longer plz

inb4 we actually are there lol

We're just one more consecutive Dragon Ball L away from that timeline.

Well considering DB still uses Saiyan Beyond God, it's getting more and more likely. Even our super conservative multipliers for SSJ still are much higher than DB's.

What do people think about the speed they gave Spongebob? Do you agree?
nah it makes about as much sense as the Hulk sex multipliers and 1500 x FTL Dio, I'd prolly be a bit salty if Spongebob's opponent was someone that mattered and they lost to that calc

It's clearly Wiz and Boomstick being high on Krabby Patties during the analysis so no, I don't quite trust it.

I feel exactly the same way. Now casual viewers will think Spongebob blitzes and plothaxes the entire measurable speed Death Battle cast lol.

Wait what? They have those? Explain? I had no idea those feats existed
D.va's ultimate was calced at 8-A, which the tanks can withstand in-game, which is now canon to the general stats as it is now canonically a combat simulation.

The Tiran Omnic the cast fought in Zero Hour is a stronger version of the Titan Omnic Torbjorn shut down in his comic, with said Titan Omnic having an 8-A feat of pulverizing half a skyscraper, and Genji was able to reflect the same projectile while Rein and Brigitte were able to block it's much stronger main canon for a decent amount of time.

Speed-wise, it was confirmed that all Omnics are able to perceive changes in stimuli in a micro fraction of a microsecond, with Tracer and Genji regularly moving too fast for Omnics to perceive.

IMO, I think Wiz is just soo suprised how strong Spongebob is, is that they are just going full wank mode and delcaring him being able to beat the actual Aquaman and Goku. Like, for example, a casual person learning how powerful Thanos is and making up/wanking him and putting him against everybody in exsitence. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I think that's what they're going for. How a person would treat a very powerful character they just discovered/learn about and hyping that character to absurd degrees. Just like how some characters have been treated by casuals for example Thanos and Saitama

Would we really get Deku vs Gon this season, feels early given the final act MHA is in. Don't you not think it would be important for Deku to get better feats before DB analysing his maximum potential? Cause one things for certain is that Deku's no waaaaaaayyyy more powerful than Prime All Might whilst we already know how strong Gon is even if we gave him adult Gon

That and I just want to see Deku stomp Gon even harder than ever before, save it for a S10 episode and bring me Eggman vs Bowser

they said they aren't waiting for characters to wrap their stories and there's no way Gon is gonna catch-up. I won't be surprised if it happens
