I seriously dobut Death Battle would do a matchup where the main connection is "People don't like them". Korra vs Delsin seems way more likely.

That just leaves 2 episodes left. One of them is obviously Galatcus VS Unicron. So really, that just leaves one unknown episode left.

Suppose I'll make my guesses.

Akuma's fighting Shao Kahn. It's another Lex vs Doom situation where the better opponent gets passed up for the legacy opponent. I'd rather have Raoh. I confess I don't know much about FotNS, but I'd much rather take it over a Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat matchup that isn't even good (e.g. Jax vs Guile).

Alucard's fighting Dio, no further elaboration needed.

Korra's ... probably fighting Rey?

Only one empty slot left, I'm amending my bet to either Frieza vs Megatron or Cole vs Alex.

Watch it be Hermione vs Juggernaut

Yes, I made versions of my
XENO JRPG VS MUs CHART

after the 'final' one was done. Don't worry, there's not much else new on here, and I'll focus on the more significant ones:

1) Master Driver Rex + Phneuma (XC2) vs Ouma Shuu + Inori (Guilty Crown).

For those of you who are eagle-eyed enough to remember a far earlier post from this very thread (or may have been reminded of knowing @Shizuka's incessant like spam), I was briefly looking for who Shuu could go up against in VS, suggesting Rex as a first stop:



For what few of you still remember this show, you may remember how many different weapons (voids) that Shuu has at his disposal (because plot spoilers, he shows resourcefulness). That's why it's recently hit me how much Shuu has a different advantage when it comes to being Rex's MU of choice - can you imagine the animation potential of Roc/Wulfric/babies first wind boxer VS sub-weapons that Shuu can get from various classmates and the Kings Heart in general? Oh, and both lose the power of their respective god-tiers at the end of their respective stories... that too.

2) Albedo (Xenosaga) vs Vanitas (Kingdom Hearts)

I'm not exactly balls deep in KH lore (although I have completed KH2 and Dream Drop Distance a loooooong while back), but I am making progress on KH3, and looking at LPs (yes, I did spoil myself on the game because prior to lockdowns, I never thought I'd get a PS4 (technically it's my brother's, but... details)), and I seem to recall Vanitas calling Ventus his 'brother' in a mocking tone at one point. From what little I remember of other KH LPs I've looked up (specifically BBS), they did have that weird, sort of 'co-dependant but not really because they hate each other' going on that Rubedo and Albedo have, so if I ever decide to look up cutscenes for these games, I'll leave this one on the table.

3) Jessie Black (Xenogears) vs Kenny Ackerman (AoT)

OK this one is minor af, but given the up-and-coming McCree name revision/retcon/oh my god Me2 will you stop being obnoxious for 5 goddamn seconds, I did need an alternative MU for the 1-in-a-million chance this oddball off the drunkard side ever got in. Kenny seems to have a similar kind of strained relationship with Levi that Jessie has with Billy, and both were ex-military of varying consequence to the plot.

As much as I joked about this chart still going on, I am starting to slow down on it (a lot), and it's going to depend on if I want to give every character a second opinion.

ALSO: A quick addendum to what I want to say about Rex, because I know that people are thinking it:

"You're pitting 2-C+ Phneuma up against High 6-A peak Shuu! This is a stomp!"

Yes and no? Whilst it's true that Phneuma would be Rex's main wincon should he ever be pushed that far, what's interesting about XC2 and it's clusterfuck-as-a-power-scaling-case-study status is that while it's true that the Conduit would put XC2's god tiers at those levels, if you took Aion/Malos literally, you'd think their peak is only planetary (this being because Malos thought it necessary to get extra Sirens to assist in destroying Alrest), and that is a trap I can see Wiz/Boomstick falling into. If you want to say that 5-B Phneuma is PIS or that the fight was more ideologically difficult for these characters, I think that's fair, but I still think it's worth pointing out.

Also I'm aware I'm probably a hypocrite for this stat gap knowing that Shadow vs Ryuko did the same thing (and in a Yahtzee voice 'I seem to be the only one who didn't like that bollocks'), but I earnestly think that fight was mishandled in other ways (sound design, analysis etc.). Ideally, they could brush that up here (also Rex vs Shuu I envision being 3D or at least partially hand drawn, so the approach would be different enough).
