MASSIVE Gravity Falls Upgrade

1 "rip".

Yeah but his MFTL+ speeds via the same got rejected in other thread. We can deal with that other day, it's still correct.

Wasn't the feat rejected because it didn't actually happened? This was only really meant to show Ford what they could do in a universe where he's unbounded by the barrier

And also as a way to try and tempt Ford by offering him "power", and allowing him to "do whatever he wants"

Yeah the scene itself is kinda unreliable cause Bill is lying to Ford about giving him power so it’s entirely possible he’s exaggerating greatly, he’ll say anything he needs to get what he wants.

That is not the case at all in context, Bill would have given him the power just like he wanted him to join him before and just like he already had his friends with power and alive to hang with. Is this because of this false notion of Bill being Pure Evil?

What exactly makes you think Bill would have kept his word? Bill screws people over in his deals all the time. He only wanted him to “join” him to use him for his own gain. Even if he’s not pure evil, he’s shown to be extremely selfish, narcissistic, and uncaring. And who’s to say Bill gave his friends their power? They all come from the Nightmare Realm, they could’ve already been that powerful before Bill showed up.

Lots of things wrong there. He always screws others while also giving them what he said he was going to give them, like how it was portrayed that he was going to spare Ford's family at the cost of destroying the universe, technically not directly messing with them before it like he would do with others in the universe first. He wanted Ford to join his gang even before needing him to for his own gain, making a thing of common sense the possibility of him saying the true the second time he asked for it. When he said how things will be he already noted his friends to already have that power, in another time when frustrated he told his friends that they as a whole had infinite power and some beings' ability to turn others into stone is the same as Bill's, so while more powerful himself, they all have similar capabilities, it was also previously foreshadowed/pointed out that he would mess up reality with demons or whatever. Saying that the scene can be just lies takes, frankly and without offense, a stupid amount of incredulity, the show tells us or gives us clues when something isn't what it shows us, when something is a lie and when something is surprisingly true, like the matter with Bill and his home dimension being revealed that he misses it not coming out of nowhere because of those other things the last 3 epidoses proved that can be missed at glance.

Efeciente's proposal seems solid. I also agree that Bill wasn't lying to Ford about the offers, that's just ridiculous.

A new thread should be made with an organized OP of what we got so far and no unnecessary comments.

A new thread is completely unnecessary when the stats have already been agreed on.

Unknown, Low 2-C via rift also gets a vote up from me.

So what have you decided should be done here specifically?

A summary of the reasons would also be appreciated.

So what have you decided should be done here specifically?
It should be something like this:

"Unknown physically and with regular powers, eventually Low 2-C via ripping a dimension (Had a rip into the universe Time Baby stated that, if continued, could destroy "the very fabric of existence" as visualized by an explosion eclipsing some area in space, and Stanford Pines was worried that Bill might destroy the universe despite the latter's delusional plans of chaotically ruling it over causing notably lesser damage. The rip presumably started with Bill's arrival to that universe, days before Time Baby's warning, and the destruction would be an unknown time later)"

This serves a few purposes
  • Most notably "the very fabric of" anything can very much mean all of something, but not necessarily, so Stanford thinking that makes it clear that they mean the universe.
  • We need to of course write somewhere that unknown timeframe in which the feat happens. If we just leave it vague as just "it will happen" that will lead to misconceptions.
  • Pointing out the explosion implies the destruction being quickly. "People can watch the video themselves" is not an option if it's removed from some countries or they don't feel like watching it.

Just one small thing, but Time Baby came on the very first day of Weirdmaggedon to try and stop Bill. It's only after few days that he's finally defeated in the series finale, and the rift is therefore closed

That's correct. I messed up the time given how they later pointed out days having past.

Okay. As long as the rest of you agree with Eficiente's suggestion, it can probably be applied.

I just finished reading the Crt but I have some different views, these different views of mine originate from cosmology and the author, would I mind scans throwing them here?
