Your favorite character tries to survive Cthulhu Mythos

@Metalballrun What I'm trying to say is that the whole point of Lovecraft is our inability to understand the nature of the universe and how we with all our contents have no importance to the cosmic hierarchy. It is the complete rejection of human traits in the universe, and while it is frustrating to some that he never focused heavily on narrative I think that would've been the opposite of what he was trying to write

Naoto Kurogane (BlazBlue): He like Ragna would be interesting for the Cthulhu beings also since Hakumen said he would become something similiar to the Black Beast. He would probably gain a cult following much like with Ragna the Bloodedge. Also since he looks like Ragna they would think he is Ragna's son or something not knowing that Naoto is Ragna's uncle actually (Long story) and it would lead to quite a lot of hilarious moments.

Given like I said that The Black Beast which itself is an Eldritch Abomination since the original Black Beast was born in the Boundary that was sealed away by the Amanohokosaka Clan in Japan. While the Black Beast that appeared in Japan and destroyed the world during the Dark War was a Black Beast that was a fusion of Azure Grimoire and a Prime Field combined together. This along with the fact that Azure Grimoire would spread seither if overflowed which would corrupt the world and cover it in seither making them turn into monsters like Arakune. Also Naoto is a half vampire that can see people's life force and would bring curiosity to the higher Cthulhu monsters.

I am now trying to imagine Naoto and Ragna dealing with various cults worshipping them both.

But honestly, the idea that all these people would get cults is kinda hilarious.

Very much true!

But in honestly Ragna, Naoto Kurogane, and Yu Narukami would get cults due to their abilities and of course their mythological connections, (e.g Izanagi, Yamato no Orochi, Amaterasu, Izanami, Tsukuyomi and Susano'o) and just their either divine or demonic powers.

Would Simon from Gurren Lagaan get a cult with his Spiral Energy?

Probably. Unless he catches the attention of some 13 dimensional onion...

I am pretty sure Simon would given his personality and the sheer fact he would rip a whole in the universe or bring people to rebel against the Cthulhu Mythos.

Wang Lin: He's very neutral and rarely ever provokes people who don't provoke him. He'll probably be fine and just reach 1-A in peace. Of course, it's all downhill from there......

CalebCity: Unsure of what he would do here, I guess more or less **** around. He would probably be a good source of entertainment for Nyarlethotep and the Outer Gods would be interested in his other abilities like his Plot Manip.

In which case...

Lelouch: He would try to live without alerting the Cthulhu Mythos by probably planning to overthrow them since he would see them as monsters and given the fact he geassed the Collective Unconscious he would feel like he could geass the monsters (But he would fail and die). At this point he would probably gain his own Black Knights but sadly he wouldn't last long and his mind become broken though many of the Cthulhu beings would be amused by Lelouch's powers.

Hell given Zero's reputation in the canon series he might even gain a cult in his following...the Cult of Zero!

Tatsumi: Yeah no he would die...Though he tries to save the people but get mutated and murdered or controlled,

Esdeath: Given her destructive nature of wanting the survival of the fittest she would just cause endless death and would probably get some attention by the Cthulhu Mythos. I am trying to imagine Esdeath turned into a monster and kidnapping Tatsumi for herself...

I mean, it would depend on how much they meddle with the Earth at large. Only 3 or so Great Old Ones are present at any moment on the planet and with the reclusive nature of the aliens, there's a chance that they'd get left alone.

Well The Empire would definitely meddle with the Earth where they want to control it, then Esdeath would want to create a survival of the fittest world.

In that case, they'd accidentally release Ghatanothoa and get petrified by looking at him. Sucks that looking at him through a mirror or even statue would do you in.

......Aaaand the aliens and Cthulhu might get Infinite Speed. RIP.

They scale to universe crossing via sheer speed in finite time. Said universes are now High 1-B and infinite in every direction.

Yeah didn't The Call of Cthulhu state that the Great Old Ones traversed across the universe or something and reached earth? I remember a line saying that

Yeah, he's implied to have come from another space-time continuum.

Makes sense going by what the Great Old Ones are tbh, I've always believed that the Cthulhu that we can somewhat perceive is but a aspect to a higher entity even if Cthulhu isn't as transcendent as the rest of it's kind

Plus, his mind can cover the entire universe, which is High 1-B sooo....

BTW IDK if this will be pointed out in the second part of the upgrade, but The Call of Cthulhu also stated that Cthulhu and co are entities that are neither alive or dead in the conventional sense. Does that grant anything or nah?

They're getting Type 5 from this I think. Though, they might already have it.

Ricky Berwick: The outer gods would likely watch his nonsensical and insane nature and likely take interest in his more powerful abilities like Plot Manipulation and Sealing.
Sans: Would likely slack around the cthulhu mythos universe
Kermit: Would probably be kermit (like always). He'd probably accidentally summon an outer god like most usual muppets shenanigans

What the...

I haven't been getting notifications for this since I made it. I just noticed it by browsing fun and games... damnit.
