Why are these scans being used for the Overvoid?

These scans are being used for the Overvoid but the context of the story is not talking about the Overvoid. It's talking about the white light manifestation that separates their reality from the higher world/Limbo. As shown when Buddy Baker walks through the white manifestation, he enters Comic Book Limbo.

Meaning the white light manifestation is just the light that separates Limbo from the rest of reality and not the Overvoid.
