Ok I've thought this through and it seems pretty even:

They're both witches or wizards, both do magic, both are immortal. Featherine is pretty powerful i guess, but voldemort has a spell that one hit kills so if he starts he might win. I guess featherine could try and destroy the horcruxes, but she's never demonstrated that feat so it's hard to tell.

Thoughts?

It's slender. Only people themselves are to blame for all the bad things. This is related to Bern only because her conceptual nature. And she is the only one who can forgive anyone. Even if no one can forgive her.
 
That doesn't change the fact that she did those evil acts that painted her a monster in the eyes of those who read the visual novel.
 
What about comedies though? Comedies don't need villains

They should have transitioned Umineko to a full on comedy. That's what they should have done.

Yeah, Yasu's and Ange's stories would have been very funny as a comedy.

Maria's story and Natsuhi's (in episode 6) were so funny, they had me in tears
