DBGT is overhated and gets hate for basically concepts that is overhyped and praised in DBS. In that same vein however, Dragon Ball worldbuilding is amazing, and regardless if you like GT or DBS or hate one or the other, added to the series. You have many different worlds and people with their own ideology, background, and the life they live.
I like the part where Goku beats up a dictator and makes him implement free housing.

I just flat out don't believe you. A massive point of the series is that the system is flawed. That's why people were trying to bridge the gaps between villages. Hell, the whole point of the Pain arc is that the world treated him like shit and people just let it happen.

Naruto's dedication to Konoha was because he wanted to be the Hokage and have people like him, and because all but like, 3 or 4 of his friends lived there. Honestly, he was mostly dedicated to Sasuke.

Sasuke murdered the guy who ordered that, and he's just allowed to go about his day. I firmly believe that if he just killed Danzo and didn't kill any innocent people or threaten to wipe out the village, people wouldn't have cared. And frankly, Sasuke isn't especially loyal to the village, everyone he knows just lives there.
Also, the Hokage at the time was unaware of the plan to wipe out the Uchiha, and when he found out, he was distraught. He disagreed with how the elders had treated the clan, and tried to peacefully resolve it, he just wasn't especially competent. Also, "he can't be racist, he had an Uchiha friend!"

That really wasn't a village specific thing, and Kakashi was loyal to Konoha because he was friends with like every Hokage.
Konoha is the worst village. At least the hidden mist was honest about themselves where they have their academy students and child soldiers kill each other. But Konoha does massacre and hide it behind as “the best village”. **** them honestly.
The Mist was just stupid for doing that. No one else makes their own academy students wipe each other out, intentionally crippling their forces. The Hidden Mist is so bad they have a disproportionate rate of shinobi just going rogue. They also had a literal legally-backed up caste system, with only the lowest caste having to do the academy massacre(this is in a Kakashi novel). Groups with Kekkei Genkai were treated like shit, and they wiped out Haku's clan. By the way, Haku's mom was killed by her own husband solely for being able to make ice, if we want to talk about bigotry within villages.
Hidden Stone? Also shit. They were buddy-buddy with the Akatsuki and didn't keep their Jinchuuriki safe. One of their former leaders also violated the Ninja Geneva Convention during the New Era.
Hidden Sand? Ruled by a dynasty who kept getting assassinated, with one leader actively sending his wife's family members to kill his son.
Hidden Cloud? They stole mad kids.
