That really depends on the future standards
From what I saw, 1-C is unlikely, but Low 1-C seems not controversial at this point

Ultima didn't replied and Ovens rejected 1-C afaik, but was fine with Low 1-C
That's it for now, the standards changing is what we are waiting and that may or may not allow 1-C here, I dunno what changes are being discussed

DMC4 designs for them were just absolutely terrific. Ain't much fan of dmc5 on that front.
Artists and modelers had some fun time doing them in dmc4, its said in dev notes in artbook.

Hm, yeah, I suppose you'd be right. Some of the scans even refer to the Demon World "consuming" the Human World, from what I see, instead of it being a fusion of two equal and perfectly overlapping realities, so it seems that front is fulfilled indeed.
