Because Gil has many NP that can be used to one shot. If Phantasmal Punishment, La Mort Espoir, Boneless Spear, Gae Bolg, Azrael, Gae Buidhe, Cyber Phantasy, Pot500A, etc.

But the point is, if hatch can use his plot manip and broadway force before Gil has a chance, then those OHKO abilities do not matter
