TF2: Atomizing weaponry.

So we're going back to "Proving a negative" practice?
No we aren't. I already explained why the cow mangler makes sense. The reason mercs are atomized on kill is that because it's always like this, and was even supported by cinematics: Heavy took several grenades with seemingly no damage yet was obliterated by the third one. The same with the mangler, so just mercs surviving it in gameplay is enough.

Or there's explanations for the difference between thermal radiation and overpressure, and some attacks having more penetration as opposed to more energy. And just "It makes no sense but it's consistent" could be used to create loopholes for a lot of verses. We can't give any one verse special treatment over all those other verses; there is such as thing as "Frequent Outliers".
Also, cow mangler blasts are clearly explosives

What is the blast radius of the Cow Mangler? That will decide how much blunt force trauma it actually has compared to its heat.

no we didnt we countered all the arguments you did in fact i even made a answers and question thread to prove you wrong and a user reacted quite agressive

Even so, Cow Mangler doesn't look like typical explosions that would use the "Overpressure bearing" method for calculations. And even our standard explosion yields calculation methods would make it only 9-B in terms of BFT at best.

Either way, it's been discussed multiple times that it's iffy to scale every character from weapons that otherwise vaporize them in 2-4 shots. Or in Rocket Launcher's case 1-2 shots.

I realized just how rich it is to have me saying to not get pissy when I'm probably the one with the shortest temper here lol
