If the previous holiday updates are anything to go by Valve will probably release an update that fixes VSH soon
 
If you think about it Italy was already canon to TF2 since the start cuz Soldiers backstory brings up WW2
 
VSH still works (sorta) if you create a server
you need to spawn some bots tho otherwise the clock will be stuck on 16 seconds and the game will not start

Good god! Saxton Hale one-shots all of TF2's mercenaries and they need to whittle him down like ******* PIKMIN in order to stand a chance against him!
 
hoooooly **** these lines make so happy :3333 it's really refreshing to hear MY BOYS get new lines after sooo long it's like living through expiration date again. again

But anyway here's the statement for regeneration. This would also imply the Demoman can decapitate hale seemingly which uhh that might be an outlier given hale inturn can reduce the Demoman into a pile of flesh and goo with a single punch
 
Yeah the Heavy is capable of enduring one hit and I think a fully-headed Demoknight as well as the soldier

Speaking of heads. Demoman has a statement questioning on the amount of heads Saxton has which implies Mid Regeneration
I made a blog listing various additions for the series, one of which is Low-Mid Regen for Hale scaling from Immortality machines, so Hale having regen would actually be kind of consistent
 
Also, it hasn't been evaluated yet, but I redid the Meteor Shower calc (With more... reasonable numbers) and got 8-B results, which, if approved, would support 8-A mercs scaling to Scout's Ayers rock feat (Also, while the high end was rejected which, fair, the wiki wasn't ready for mach 20 train the High 8-C low end of Heavy's End of the Line feat was approved, which adds more support)

AP​

Speed

  • Abilities like his charge and brave jump just. look super fast. He is capable of keeping up with the scout and far outspeeding him with the charge

Durability​

  • Can tank 8 sticky bombs blowing up on him at once (this is the voiceline when demo places down all 8 of his stickies it's pretty difficult to get gameplay)
  • Can tank all mercenaries firing at him at once which would allow him to endure extreme heat from the batsaber, the phlog and some of the strongest weaponry in TF2 even when coated in Jarate
  • Can be pushed into gears with no harm
  • Can be pushed into lava just fine
  • Can be pushed into toxic waste with no notable effects aside from minor damage (all of these are from the map environments)

Mercs​

  • All mercs are now capable of wall climbing. that's about it for feats and I'm kinda sleep now awa

Looking back at Merasmus' High 7-C cloud feat, it was said to only be applicable as ED, but don't we usually scale these kinds of feats to applicable AP if the character uses the same energy for attacking? Merasmus uses the same magic to do all his stuff, so it shouldn't be too unreasonable to say he's got High 7-C magic in general (It would also add support to High 7-C/7-B Mercs scaling to sub-atomic destruction weapons)

Also, another intelligence feat; Medic and Engineer could hook a person's brain up to a pumpkin to make a living jack-o-lantern

And the Halloween comics/events seem to suggest that respawning is canon, as Merasmus gets the mercs to kill each other over and over to create an impromptu burial ground which also suggests the Mercs' resurrection is independent of their original bodies (Since if they revived in their old bodies there wouldn't be any bodies left to make a burial ground with) and is effectively pseudo-Low Godly (Also Gargoyles and Gravel has Merasmus telling the Mercs to kill their past selves to collect souls from, which could potentially give the Mercs Type 1 Acausality)

Same magic =/= same energy. It needs to be explicitly said that the energy he uses to make the clouds is also used in his attacks.
