Suggestions for improvements (New forum)

Yes. Make a thread, on the right side of the "Watch/Unwatch" option, there's a "..." button, and click on that, an "Edit thread" button will appear, in which you can change the thread name.
For example, I want to change my profile name, but I don't have that option, wouldn't it be good to be able to join this option for wiki?

for the simple reason that it is no longer useful and also avoids having the same CRTs
No, this is an atrocious reason. Unless it is empty thread, and you accidentally create it, you can request thread moderator for CRT deletion. Otherwise, there is no reason to delete it.

Either giving this permission to each user by their own will lead to extreme outrageous consequences.

No, that could lead to every user being capable of removing their CRTs at will and that could end as either trolling or in case of anyone needing to check out old CRTs to get informed about certain topics or whatsoever

no, lol, I'm referring to the name of the profile, I made mine in a rush and didn't know how to work with the profile, right after I put the first name that came to mind, lol
Then you could change your wiki username and after that ask a bureaucrat to change your username here accordingly, but name change in fandom can only do 1 time.

I understand

No, it just surprised me that you suddenly brought up your profile name, when we were having talks about threads.

But well, you'll have to ask Bureaucrats for that, and the most active one is Antvasima.

I think this option should be adhered to for moderators and administrators, delete old CRTs

Heart emojis seem harmless, but not particularly necessary, as we already have the like function.

Anybody being able to delete their own threads would too easily cause problems for our wiki's and forum's organisation, and people constantly changing their own usernames would cause absolute chaos in recognising and finding each other.

Also, if somebody changes their Fandom username, there is a bug that recurrently automatically wipes out ALL comments to ALL of their wiki blog posts, so I strongly advise against it for members with several calculation blogs or similar.

How do you become an admin or moderator on vsbttles?

Is it possible for a member like me to be an admin?

Very distinguished and competent prolonged service to this community and our staff members noticing and suggesting such a member for a promotion evaluation.

well, I come to bring something that will benefit everyone, the option for us members to block people we don't like, (apart from moderators, administration, and the team) as toxic members, and such, I know that everyone has a person that they don't like in the wiki, that's why I'm proposing this, it would be nice not to have to see anything more of the person we hate or something like that, to avoid problems, but this function will have to report to the team, so as not to suffer from the person blocking anyone for reasons silly, anyway, I think this is a beautiful thing to bring on the wiki, like Facebook.

One argument against this suggestion could be that it could lead to a culture of avoidance and lack of accountability. If members are able to block other members that they don't like, they may be less likely to engage in healthy conflict resolution or address any issues they have with those individuals. This could also create a situation where certain individuals are isolated or ostracized from the community, which could be harmful and counterproductive.

Additionally, this suggestion could potentially be abused by members who may use it to block anyone who disagrees with them or who they perceive as a threat to their own status within the community. This could lead to the suppression of diverse viewpoints and the creation of echo chambers, rather than fostering a healthy and inclusive environment for dialogue and debate.

It may be more productive to focus on finding ways to encourage respectful and constructive communication within the community, rather than giving members the ability to block others. This could involve providing resources for conflict resolution, implementing rules and guidelines for respectful behavior, and enforcing consequences for those who consistently engage in toxic or disruptive behavior.

Therefore, I disagree with this.

I recall this was already suggested before and denied for the reasons above, if anything we may start to need a blacklist for suggestions if this keeps popping up.

I believe that creating a sandbox for this purpose could be a useful solution. This would allow us to make suggestions and offer assistance to the OP (Ant) without requiring constant updates to the original post. Additionally, this would provide a dedicated space for discussion and collaboration on the topic, potentially streamlining the process and making it more efficient.

A list of firmly rejected previous suggestions likely wouldn't hurt.

Also, in addition to the reasons mentioned above for not accepting the latest suggestion here, it isn't good if we sweepingly ignore all valid content revision thread arguments from all of the members that we personally dislike, or even do not receive notifications from staff members.

could you help me with this from here?

There are days that I'm trying to log in with my account and I can't, is this normal to happen?

What on God's Green Earth is this ugly ass underlining?

My suggestion for improvement is removing whatever this underlining is

Yeah, it seems that it has occurred again. This has already happened before and was removed in a day. The reasons for this occurring is unknown.

This issue is also only prevalent in light mode.
