STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

Therefir got back to me on Gwyn's calc and he said it uses outdated standards for outer space images of Earth. So we can probably disregard that calc.
 
So I guess we should request for a new one?

I can request a melting calc and a serious punch calc
 
If CRSC got downgraded to 56 petatons (the ME for Ugarik's version), would that mean Tatsumaki could stop or at least somewhat redirect CRSC? She's probably about 20-25 petatons anyways by virtue of being so superior to Psykos
 
Afaik Gwen's thing actually makes multiple errors which is why we were going to go with Asura or the other guy's version.

The serious punch effect we see was after it had dispersed the CSRC. There wouldn't be a downgrade for the attack.
 
Fair enough. Tatsumaki being able to handle CSRC would be hilarious though, if only for the craziness of it.

Also, just wanted to point out that when Sitch was confident the strike team would succeed because Tatsumaki was involved, he would have been totally right under most circumstances. The monster side got super lucky that Psykorochi, Golden Sperm and Awakened Garou all manifested themselves in the span of a few short hours to deal with Tatsumaki. Garou could have easily been destroyed in his fights against Rover, Orochi or Darkshine had things turned out differently. Also, if God didn't intervene, Tatsumaki would have no-diffed Psykorochi and gone on to face (and presumably defeat) Golden Sperm at her full power. Without Awakened Garou, that would be the decisive end of the monster side

Hey guys, why is Tatsumaki's lifting strength class P/ 2.9266155e+15 Kg from accelerating the rocks at Psykos when Therefir accepted this calc for Tatsumaki's lifting strength here that is stronger with a lifting strength of class P/1.15558624e + 16 Kg? This calc is accepted and accounts for all the rock (that we know of) that was lifted when Tatsumaki raised the coast, as opposed to the much smaller snippet of rock we saw Tatsumaki throw at Psykos. I think we should change the profile so her lifting strength links to the 388km calc as opposed to the accelerating rock calc. Small change but it just came up in the Tatsumaki vs Aldoron thread where it will decide the match-up
 
Just make a CRT. Should be a simple upgrade. Well actually you wouldn't even need one, just replace the linked calc. If you can't I can do so later.
 
Is it just me or anyone else who finds Saitama's profile a complete mess? Not to mention these totally ugly photos.
I'm going to ask Ant for permission to make some adjustments.
 
I could get behind changing the pictures. What other changes did you have in mind?

For instance, I was thinking about lifting strength since it came up on the CRT thread I just posted.

Saitama currently has (at least) Class G, which is the same tier as Elder Centipede and Gyoro Gyoro. This is far too low as we all know, but is there any way we can scale Saitama higher? We scale Dragon Level Threats and fighters like Sweet Mask above Suiryu's Class M LS by virtue of being stronger, are there any reasons we cannot scale Saitama to at least Tatsumaki's Class P LS?

We want to adjust her lifting strength justification and replace the current lifting strength calc with a newer one that was also accepted. And if everyone agrees that there's no reason for Saitama being below Tatsumaki in lifting strength, then we should scale him to her, changing him from Class G to Class P for scaling to Tatsumaki if there's no objection.

Technically speaking, because her LS is not physical based, but telekinesis. There's no line of scaling outside of "Should be stronger". The plan was to wait for the table fill to get an improved rating rather than possibly sketchy Tornado scaling.
 
I see... we know Saitama's stronger (because of the narrative) but since these characters have different types of lifting strength we can't upgrade his LS. While you're here AKMsama, might I hear your thoughts on making the Tatsumaki LS change?

Volume 23 is coming out the 4th of January.

Looks like we're back on a 4 month schedule for the volumes, so volume 24 will hopefully be out in April. This volume is going to be 224 pages (5-6 chapters), so I'm sure they'll be ready to start on season 3 by the time volume 25 comes out in July/August. If I were a betting man, I'd say that we'll get season three mid to late 2022
 
There is someone modifying the profiles without authorization, I updated the profile of Saitama with the photos and returned to the old one, it must be the same ****** who modified the photo of Tatsumaki.

I hope you realize it was a staff member that put Tatsumaki’s picture back to the original one lol

Also weren’t you and some other people constantly changing the picture on her page without authorization...
 
I can't think of a reason, but before jumping into revisions we should do some planning in advance; like determining what needs removing from the manga version of profiles, which profiles deserve their own separate webcomic versions, etc.
 
The funny thing is that, Saitama has a photo "serious" without any need, and "during training" also useless.
There we have characters like Saitama who have several "transformations" that have only one photo.

Water Polo Carbonated Fist has non-physical reaction. That aside, I'd agree that the lasers don't act like lasers. ONE doesn't strike me as the physicist type, I think taking the word "laser" at face-value despite counter-evidence would just be remiss.

Well, no, the Focused Atomic Slash is completely removed from the manga. So that's gone for good, until ONE decides to add it back in of course.

I'm going to reroute the Tatsumaki lifting strength to the more impressive accepted calc unless there are any objections here or in the CRT thread
 
Which version of the Phoenix Man vs Child Emperor fight is the final one? The OPM Wiki lists 3 of them, the one with the Phoenix Space where Saitama has his Telepathy feat seems to have been redrawn ages ago
