Because in order to launch Saitama to the moon, Boros would have to attack at an equal or greater speed, and Saitama is comparable to Boros.

For now, I've only done the scaling for the first season; I haven't included anything from the OVAs, seasons 2, and season 3 yet.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a translation error, but it's worth checking, since the context for the anime might end up changing.

I'm just asking because the anime makes the gap between Saitama and Boros much smaller than it is between them in the manga as the anime guides at least imply Boros damaged him a little bit with his attacks prior to the CSRC.

Well, that's a fun and useful piece of information to have, I'll have to check it out.

Well, it seems the official translation says star, but the original says planet, although I have to confirm if the kanji only means planet or if it can also mean star.

On another note, it also seems that Saitama took some damage from Meteoric Burst mode according to the raw, so it's possible that MB is Low 5-B+ or 5-B baseline, since the statement in the anime is that Boros will destroy Saitama and the planet. There's also an impact panel during the lunar kick that looks like one of Saitama's bones broke, although it could be a coincidence.

By the way, is anyone interested in doing some calculations for the anime? I can do some, but I don't think I can handle every possible calculation on my own.

Beefcake's crater won't be a good feat in the anime since it took him dozens of blows to create it. I'd have to divide the destruction by like 50.

The arm swipe should be decent though.

Okay, with the calculations/feats that work for the anime, we currently have:

8-A = 388.37 tons (Hammerhead)
7-C = 10 Kilotons (Metal Knight)
7-C = 16.06 Kilotons (Genos vs Mosquito Girl)
6-B? = 7.43 Teratons (1 Bullet of Boros ship... I have to see the logic of this scale and who would scale to that)
6-A = 980.276 Teratons (Meteor)
5-B = Baseline (Boros CRSC)

High Hypersonic = Mach 44.08 (Deep Sea King and Sonic)
Relativistic+ = 55.67%c or 75%c (Boros)

Class 5 = 3.98 tons (Mosquito Girl)

That's great, although it seems the calculation still needs evaluation and the Beefcake anime isn't the same size as the manga, this is a great basis, thanks Kachon!

Well, I recalculated Beefcake's dimensions trying to get a different size, since the 270 meters I saw referred to the manga.

Good news, the Low-Ball version of Beefcake's calculation has been approved, so characters that scale to Beefcake would be 6-C (12.64~24.87 Gigatons), Class P (1.61~3.18 trillion tons), although I don't know if they would scale to speed -> Locomotion = 497.7784 m/s or Mach 1.45 (Supersonic) & Combat: 6,680.0597 m/s or Mach 19.47 (Hypersonic+)

AP and LS would be decided based on whether the Dirt or Concrete version would make more sense.
