Uh are you sure it was only ONE time? Exactly no other instance where she could have been using the "protection" skill? No possible happenstance where her using said power explains why she was able to withstand attacks without barriers?

I think it has to do with perspective but even then I don't think it would constitute for an upgrade for Tatsumaki at all

if the rock is behind the mountain in your perspective, and the rock still looks the same size as the mountain or even bigger, then it’s safe to say that each rock is mountain+ sized

it’s impossible for it to be smaller since it’s BEHIND the mountains and still looks as big/bigger.
shadows are just pretty inconsistent and also distorted due the angle

Tatsumaki's calc already assumes the depth of the trench she left is 2.6 km, so I don't think so.
