Strife of the Reborn (RP Thread)

[Eh. People want time away from the more chaotic and stressful stuff, not that weird. It didn't have to be beach, but it would've been something inevitably anyway. It's their business anyway.]

"You people are strange. Never would I have thought that someone like me would get dragged into something like this. And hey, why does Layla get to hide like that?"

Kusanagi pointed out to the beach people.

"A-anyway, how long am I expected to stay cursed like this?"

She asked Lailah.

The Kusanagis at other places seemed to be doing mostly mundane things, working on stuff, although the one in the labyrinth did look rather oddly at Lailah there.

@Yobo_Blue

Lailah's aura flares up momentarily, and then in her hands is a shirt and a pair of trunks.

"Here you are."

@The_Divine_Phoenix

Lailah shrugs at the first question

"If you don't want her to hide, stop her. Anyway, you'll be cursed to stay in that outfit for so long as we're at the beach, seems simple enough. After that, I can remove it."

One of the Lailahs in the labyrinth smiles and waves at Kusanagi in response.

@Labyrinth

"By the way, now that the ritual is over, the offer for that match still is available, although you're probably in one with that other person already, so I suppose you may not want it." She says with a shrug

"If you decide you do, just ask, if not, I'll continue working."

Her work seemingly is drawing an absurd amount of small, upside down triangles on the floor, and writing besides them

"...oh." Is all she says initially

"Umm, right, did you like, want those back then maybe? If so, you'll have to describe it to me." Lailah says, before creating a small room out of her energy, and opening the door.

"Until then, you can change in here, if you so desire."

"Maybe you're not familiar with how this world is, but that... wouldn't have worked. People are deluded. Hell, look at any article from before we were summoned here, about how much blatant corruption there was in the governments of the world. Those in power only had their own selfish interests in mind. So, going in with force not only gets rid of those corrupt leaders, it makes a point that I don't take shit."
"Oh, I am fully aware that people might reject changes that appear bad in spite of its actual merits, but that's usually because of cultural differences than something like this. Surely, a prolonged, less-suffered existence would be nothing but an outright improvement, even to the most egotistical or backwards people. And beside, the kind of un-leaderly behavior you describe tends to phase itself out. After all, if the people do not consider one their leader, simply shouting orders louder isn't going to change anything."

“Maybe I’ll get new clothes later, if I do, I’ll ask. For now, I’ll change.”
Ikkath changes into the trunks and shirt in the room. When he gets out, the bikini is suspiciously absent and a pile of ash is on the floor.

@Edwellken

A telekinetic force seems to pull the cloak off and away from Layla.

@Paul_Frank

"So until you remove it, and it won't end on its own. I.. see."

The one in the labyrinth glares back slightly at this response.

"And uh, maybe, I'll think about it. But also, what were you working on there."

@Yobo

"I am gonna beat the shit out of you."

@hl3

"Personally, I'm not a fan of things phasing out and back in. happens way too often, so I'd rather nip it in the bud. I've got big plans, though, plans that'll make sure I I really pull out that selfishness and hatred."

“I’m not wearing that.”

@The_Divine_Phoenix

"That sounds correct, yes." The beach one says

"Oh, this. This is typically a charm used to ward off curses, but by reversing it, it instead becomes a spell for capturing and redirecting one of the many curses that already exists. Creating a large amount of these is for preparations for later." The one in the labyrinth responds, still working, before making another copy and having her stand a good distance away.

"See, if I take one of these, and I call on one of the curses, I can redirect it like so."

She mouths the words I supply the lightning for thy death, and through her increased perception, Kusanagi could see the curse fly in from outside, be spun around in the triangle, gaining a lightning like crackle, and strike the clone. The clone then collapses as if hit by lightning, with smoke rising from her, and the other typical injuries associated with a lightning strike.

@Yobo_Blue

"It seems like you're supposed to do things like go into the water, play in the sand, do things like volleyball, etc."

Ikkath sneezes

”Oh, volleyball? Never played that.”

@Beach

"I don't think we have that many people, though I suppose duplicates and such could make up for it. Also that's a bit excessive, don't you think? The curse that is."

Kusanagi noted. She finally put away the sword she was carrying this entire time, demanifesting it.

"Either way, I can do almost anything I suppose, with little issue."

@Labyrinth

"I see. Is this from one of the things Layla taught you?"

Kusanagi said, observing the event happening.

"And I'm relieved that at least my main body didn't get forced into... those. But then neither did yours."

She noted.

@beach

"We could also play a smaller version maybe. One that doesn't need 6 people per team. Either one works. And why would it be excessive Kusanagi?"

@Labyrinth

Lailah shakes her head.

"No, this is something I gained when we received powers again. But, I can put what Layla taught me to use with this. Currently, I'm using the information she taught me to come up with new curses."

"And that's because there was no reason to make all your bodies wear that. They're not all at the beach. As for me, of course I'm not in the swimsuit for all my bodies either, or maybe I am, and I'm just concealing it with magic, who knows." She jokingly suggests

"I think I can" With a single scratch of his face, some spores drop onto the floor, and then, in quick time, two Brusels emerge from the spores.

@Beach

"I suppose it does. Could've made it end automatically when I leave the beach or something, I guess."

She suggested.

"Either way, I'll do the activities I suppose. It has been ages since I have done anything like this. But I really don't get why you two wanted to see me like this, both of you look much better."

She replied, that last part being significantly more quiet.

@Labyrinth

"What exactly did you get from her anyway? Was it worth it?"

Kusanagi wasn't doing anything much there, besides hammering out the occasional sword.

"That one is stuck in that outfit regardless of where it is though. You're a strange one in any case, deciding to do something like that. But then, I suppose I'm strange in my own ways too, in many ways most likely."

@beach

"Yeah but then you'd have just left the beach and ended it and came back."

"And nice, this will be my first time doing anything like this, so it should be fun." She responds

"Anyway, as for captains, I'm not sure, did you want to be one maybe, Mr. Ikkath?"

@labyrinth

"Uhh, there were a few things. I can show you some if you'd like. And I'd say it was worth it, knowledge on something like that always interests me, and its not like it was too heavy of a price, I'm not very strong or anything, so my body doesn't help much, probably." Lailah answers

"And yes Kusanagi, both of us are rather strange in our own ways, but that's not necessary a bad thing."
