Well, I suppose it's not an entirely unreasonable strategy. Although, it has unstated advantages in that aspect, I think, in that it's hard for people to be disappointed in your actions when you present yourself as a low-point.

"Maybe you're not familiar with how this world is, but that... wouldn't have worked. People are deluded. Hell, look at any article from before we were summoned here, about how much blatant corruption there was in the governments of the world. Those in power only had their own selfish interests in mind. So, going in with force not only gets rid of those corrupt leaders, it makes a point that I don't take shit."

Starting off simple, it seems, so Kusanagi responds to it by parrying it with her blade, redirecting the jab as she moved to avoid it as well.
She'd then release a few tracking orbs of flame.
