Saint Seiya Discussion Thread 3 - The Continuation

Leonida85 said:
If you were right, then Kurumada would have made a public statement in which he says: the Lost Canvas manga is not canonical !!

Instead he simply published the Next Dimension that threw out the LC from the window.

Similarly the Kuru did the Origins.

It is Kurumada who decides what is canonical or not, not you and not me, but only the author

And the TheUpgradeManHaHaxD is right, we're going off topic.

Good Night
The manga of TLC is canon, but a different universe in the multiverse, even Shiori explained in his manga that this is a universe or timeline created by time travel of Avenir (a Saint of the future of an alternative timeline where Hades won the war).

This is why Kurumada introduces the concept of the multiverse in all the mangas of the franchise.

It is correct the author decides that it is canon, and for Kurumada this story is canon and part of the main universe at the moment. If in the future Kuori and Kurumada indicate that it is a parallel universe (or that it is the only non-canon work of the franchise) you will be right, but for the moment the authors do not indicate anything in the manga.

TheUpgradeManHaHaxD is right, we're going off topic.

Now the Lost Canvas is canonical !? To the main timeline !?

Ok, excuse me but I can't continue in this.

I'm out. Good evening and goodbye

The TLC is canon in the franquice, although it is a different universe (or a parallel universe) in the multiverse. The StS franchise is currently a multiverse with several timelines and universes. An idea that the author introduced in all the mangas of the franchise.

Ok, I can't continue debating with someone who doesn't know about these details or doesn't investigate about this franchise and its mangas.

Good evening and goodbye

going back through for a 3rd time. Athena might get some sort of passive fear manipulation, or empathic manipulation. Still don't know it is though. It won't let me uploade the picture!!! NNNOOO!!!

Is there a need to give the main bronze saints another Key for their Cloths turning gold and becoming = or > Gold saints?

The one time when Sorrento has no choice but to escort her to Poseidon? I think just listimg it as Aura is enough.

I think just putting "higher when burning Cosmo" is good enough.

Sorrento mentioned it not once, but twice.. And isn't their a form, or Type of Aura that leads into fear manipulation??? But i guess just leaving it as Aura and describing what he felt might be okay.

As for the Bronze saints, their Cloths were made new from the blood of the Gold Saints. They even commented after putting their cloths on about how they "Felt superior to bronze cloths now, and more like gold" Seiya said that and he wore the Saggitarius Gold cloth before. So, its likely that cloths bathed in the blood a gold saint is a tier in between Silver Saint, and Gold Saint status.

Their cloths temporaryily turn Gold when they flare their 7th sense. So, i don't think "Higher when bruning their cosmo" will be sufficient... I could be wrong though..

Does anyone know when will Saint Seiya: Next Dimension - The Myth of Hades missing chapters be translated in English? I'm like falling behind because I don't understand Spanish.

When Seiya had the Sagittarius Cloth on, before 7th sense was introduced, he dodged Aiolia's Lightning Bolt quite easily, while in Pegasus Cloth he needs a Miracle to dodge any of Aiolia's attack.

In Next Dimension, Cain also mentioned no matter how hard you burn your Cosmo, a Bronze Saint can't close the gap between their speed and a Gold Saint's speed.

So it's clear Gold Cloth grant superior speed to its wearer.

Also, Seiya in Sagittaruis Cloth, no 7th sense, manage to strike Aiolia down, so there may be some boost in AP as well.

This is true.

The Gold Cloth gives the user a boost of power and speed, this also appears in Omega and TLC where Tokisada can increase its cosmos when using Aquarium Gold Cloth and Defteros increases its cosmos when using Gemini Gold Cloth.

I wanted to highlight Shaina's contribution in protecting Seiya:

not only she was able to react to the golden arrow shot against Poseidon (a really serious attack) but she also acted as a human shield and survived it.

For a silver saint this is a big feat: both in terms of reaction speed and resistance too.

Just asking:

Saint Seiya Omega spoilers
Is it possible to have a profile for "Equuleus Subaru" to be a key phase under Satur? Looks like Subaru has a long time with Pegasus Kouga & co and should have key phases like Kouga.

I can help you with that. I have rough translation scripts.

Something i realize going back through and reading. Shun's Chains were wrapped around Scylla Io. They were turned Golden and Shun was burning his 7th sense to the limit. The Chains wrapped around Scylla were undamaged by the Twin Rods, or the Nunchuk thingies Shun used to destroy the pillar.

That could be dismissed as inconsistency. In the scene, it's not really important if the chain stayed intact or not.

Also, I realized that, Cosmo Users should also have Explosion Manip as well, like Shun and Shaka who planned on self-destructing to destroy the Pillar (in Shun's case) and the Wailing Wall (in Shaka's case)

For some reason i haven't been getting notificiation for some Fandom threads.

Wouldn't that be Self-Destruction? How woudl we justify that? Because when they doing that they raise their cosmo to higher AP tier.

Also, i just realized that Episode G has been updated. Mangarock is the only site that has the updated chapters from what i seen. The new chapters are 52 ~ 57 or somewhere around there. To read those chapters look below chapter 1 https://beta.mangarock.com/manga/mrs-serie-294977

Ah, Self-Destruction sounds more like it. It's when they recklessly burn their Cosmo that they self-destruct.

Also, should the time when Aldebaran and Ikki (Gold Saint Arc) do their suicide attack qualify for self-destruct as well?

You mean Shaka, and Ikki??? Yeah, they want to "Combust" their cosmo. Though, does self-destruction need to be an explosion??? In some cases its like their focusing their cosmo at a specific point on their body while doing a sucidie attack. Like Shiryu and Excalibur.

Aldebaran is the one when he fight Sorrento, but it's an imaginary sequence though. Athena stopped them before Aldebaran could do it, but it was implied had she not stopped them, he would do so.

Shiryu suicide attack as in Rozan Ascending Dragon? That one is not a self-destructing technique, but more like "fly so fast the friction will destroy you and whoever you have with you" (But it mostly results in whoever they grabbed reforming, lol)

Shiryu has done several suicide attacks lol. He is prone to suicidial tendencies.

I think Self-Destruction would be an OP ability once we get to 8th sense revision + it would already be OP with Ikki. Dude ressurcts from the world of hades even when his body is completely annhilated.

It makes sense they shoudl have Self-Destruction the AOE explosion itself would be really small though, and more of a direct physical contact hit. My only other question is. Would this need to be included in AP justification? The attack is supposed to be beyond their usual/normal/Consistent tier??

Sorrento has that hax he alwasy leads with in a fight. That reduces someones strength down to 1/1000th of their power or something like that.

Lmao, Ikki - Galaxy level (or higher) Self destruction + Regen + Reactive power level to get stronger, and faster after death, and revival = OP

Matter Manipulation resistance, and is it possible to scale Shuns chians with the Electricity resistance? Also, is it possible to scale Cold Energy Resistance (Ice Manipulation)???

Acutally.. that speed calc.. I think thre was something in the manga about that took

DragonEmperor23 said:
I don't think so for the Cold energy and electricity resistances, he never fought Shun or Hyoga.
Oh!! I just remember. He did tank Shaina's thunder claw with, amd without a cloth, and he said "it was like tens of thousands of volts flowing thorugh me" or something like that. Which is basically equal to shun's chians.

AAHHH finally finished Arc 3.

Im going to post my findings probably within 3 weeks. I got to upload everyting to imgur which is going to take a while with my crapstastic computer.

As for Self-destruction, im going to wait to do that at Hades arc

and blood loss stamina feats, im going to do those in hades arc.

I just noticed: the Saints don't have the Reactive evolution in the Netflix adaptation

And Hyoga/Magnus was able to send the genmaken back to Ikki/Nero even though he saw it for the first time!
