Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

I think she should be permanently banned from vsbtles for insulting us,
To clarify since this may be misinterpreted, people retain the right to “insult” the wiki long as it does not violate the rules; in her case, her behavior is extremely poor and she has a history of extreme hostility. This is grounds for the ban.

I don’t want people to think we’re banning people for just expressing negative sentiments about vsb. Long as they aren’t harassing people, wreacking havoc, etc, people are entitled to their beliefs. On that note, I believe I speak for most of the staff when I say we appreciate constructive criticism.

Anyway, @Veronica

1. Clover did not close your thread because only thread moderators and admins can do that.

2. From what the comments said, the topic of your thread was discussed numerous times and rejected on multiple occasions. You did not provide any new pieces of evidence, and thus people didn’t respond accordingly. Additionally, it seems there may even be a discussion rule against using that argument because that’s how much it’s been discussed.

So, it isn’t “power abuse” it’s just procedural due process.

Also, it’s worth asking if you yourself even want to continue being a member here?

If i get reported for requesting to close a very controversial CRT, that wasn't opened by me, is that offense punishable or not permitted

You could have asked this on staff member walls, this thread is not for it. However, requesting to close a thread is not a punishable offense. Whether or not your request will be fulfilled depends on if the reason you provided is sufficient or not. Just being controversial is vague; there has to be more to it, I guess.

Also, Veronica's old account is San-Kakarot, in case she misbehaved with that one as well.

yep, can confirm she did. Its the same, antagonizing people and being obnoxious in general while refusing to heed any warnings from mods and users alike. Here's a few instances:

I never noticed Veronica has been a sock puppet of a permabanned user all this time; yeah, that alone is grounds for permaban on top of her already borderline harassment towards many users and staff while dumping offsite drama that should be kept off here.

Edit: I have done so.

I'd like to report @TiltedFN and @The_Yellow_Topaz for their behavior in this thread. Here are some relevant posts, and I'll narrow this down to the especially relevant things said:
Topaz: THE FACT THE SAME LITTLE GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO UPGRADE DB IS UPVOTING THIS IS HILARIOUS. This is will you all will NEVER have the power to decide anything without staff approval.

TiltedFN: How about you stop being a toxic piece of shit for two seconds and argue like a normal person.

TiltedFN: "Nah, you're caught". You're unbelievably stupid.

Topaz: You've addressed zero of the counterclaims I've made, I don't think you have the capacity of calling out the less fortunate in intelligence. No need to be angy.

And this is on top of their combative attitude toward each other in the thread as a whole, hence why I've linked the thread itself so staff can look through the situation at large.

I will also bring up the fact that Topaz was reported before when she spazzed out on Chariot in a thread, but it was never concluded.

I'm not going to stay here and try to defend Tilted, but following the string of comments posted by those two, Tilted was very obviously responding in a "toxic" manner after Topaz was goading him (and "the same group of people"). The worst part is that Tilted was completely normal (respondong respectfully) in his comment before that, so Topaz's unwarranted jest-filled comment come from left field, in my POV.

I've expressed frustration at a group of people who always band together to make their peers seem "right" no matter the validity of their arguments. And then I made a slight jab after being cursed at twice and very aggressively so.

He called me a toxic piece of shit and "stupid". I don't think that's comparable at all.

One being a worse offender doesn't mean the other is not an offender at all
Yeah I'm not saying he doesn't deserve punishment (he being Tilted), just wanted to put that out there.

I'll leave it to yall though.

Not what I meant, but making one frustrated comment is far from an excuse to tweak out and start throwing cusses around. After that I just argued against his points normally, and then another insult. Saying I'm significantly worse is ridiculous.

Okay sure that was rude, but I said that because topaz always speaks with a bad attitude and it gets rather annoying, calling out a group of people for liking a comment? As if that means anything, and just in general. But I'll stop, and I apologize.

I'm "calling out" the group of people who always try to push for very large upgrades consistently, and seem to always outnumber anyone who argued otherwise. This is frustrating too, several people repeating the same argument I've already replied or straight up misinterpreting what I said. Of course my comment was out of line, but far from a personal attack, or an insult. These are not on the same category. You are not justified.
Neither am I. We can agree to stop.

I consider Tilted's comments significantly more dire of the two, but he also isn't on the Warning Tracker yet so I'll settle for a warning.

Topaz has two warnings there and has had other discussions that didn't quite make it. That said, this particular instance seems tame- haughty, perhaps annoying, but only barely fitting the strict definition of legitimately disruptive behavior. Mixed with prior incidents, I think any action would have to be remarkably small: a warning better fits here, although at some point there will be a straw that breaks the camel's back.

I'd say I pretty much fully agree with your assessment

While calling someone a "Toxic piece of shit" and "Stupid" was definitely the worser comment, Tilted was never warned beforehand and is normally chill from my experience. Plus, it was more so a retaliation to Topaz's provocative comments, though doesn't excuse it. So nothing beyond a simple warning.

Topaz did have a warning at least once, and I do generally like three strike traditions. So a second final warning that further action is taken if this happens again sounds warranted.

Report @William_Joee in this Thread.

Because he on purpose said something rude in his native slang language to another debater in his thread which meant "You're St*pid".

However, outside of the VSB wiki, he also had problems with several debaters in his own country's community platform such as Facebook.

The actual offense seems to be relatively minor but @William_Joee if you wish to participate in this wiki you are expected to speak in English. That way, the mods can do their jobs without worrying about a language barrier. Thank you.

Regarding the behavior, i think we should just tell them not to be unnecessarily hostile, or maybe a verbal warning.

I can't really translate what exactly he said on any site to verify, but if that's the case, it's just rather tame if anything

Reporting Mad_Dog_of_Fujiwara for her condescending and aggressive behavior here in this thread.

Regardless of the arguments for or against the proposals, she has consistently engaged in rude and antagonizing behavior against me and keeps making unwarranted accusations about me and my debating habits, despite me telling her not to pester me any further regarding the topic. It's one thing if she doesn't find the evidence sufficient (I've already given her the scans from GoW3 but she insists I haven't, to which my only conclusion is that she didn't find the evidence conclusive, to which I really don't care about), but it's another to keep pestering me again and again even after I've told her I wouldn't respond and would leave this in the hands of staff.

As if that wasn't enough, she made this thread despite the previous one having received overwhelming rejection from most staff members (The size of the CRT didn't help matters much), and as per our rules in order to make CRTs on those same topics using the same pieces of evidence you would need to wait 3-4 months. Staff are already burned out from the constant influx of GoW CRTs like these and fed up.

This isn't even the first time she's been reported for such condescending behavior, if her warning trackers are anything to go by. She's gotten 4 warnings and 9 reports for this kind of behavior already, as well as having gotten a 2-week ban prior for this kind of behavior.

I am aware staff will not be sympathetic to my plight, but I'm making this report regardless because @DarkGrath insisted I do so. I do not wish to cause any more drama than what has already transpired, so I will not be responding to any claims Fuji might make in response to this comment. But at this point, some action has to be taken.

EDIT: Fixed the Warning tracker link.

I suppose I should get a head start on this.

@KLOL506 is, apparently, planning to report me for conduct in this thread. All I have done is repeatedly ask him for scans, something which he has become increasingly hostile to, saying I'm "pestering" him (when in reality I really just want him to post scans of what he's claiming). My only outright negative behavior was capitalizing several words and using a swear word in this post, which was a brief moment of frustration on my end. I'm genuinely confused how any of this could be seen as aggressive, or harassment, or an "accusation".

KLOL. I asked you for scans. That is all. That is the full extent of my "pestering". If you do not wish to provide scans, then just say so! This isn't bad behavior on my end, this is pretty standard debating etiquette. If you want to debate someone, you should have proof of your claims, or at least expect someone to ask you for proof. That's all I've been doing, is something I do in almost every CRT, and is something I have seen done in nearly every CRT I've read in my years on the site. It is not, and never has been, a report worthy offense (or an offense at all, for that matter).

Could you point to what rule you think I'm breaking at the moment?

Also, the thread was created because it was suggested by @Deagonx. I would not have made the thread if it was not done at the suggestion of a staff member.
