Isn't anything ban worthy, even if you are being aggressive. Since the explicit word is being used as a non-targeted descriptor. If he directly insulted you with a curse word or derogatory remark something may happen. But being called salty, no matter how frustrating it may feel, isn't really either of those things.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. And it was more than just being called "salty", it was a constant and consistent effort to antagonize and basically scream at me (which I responded to with some condescension), coupled with an asinine "just trying to prevent you from being banned" comment right after he claimed to have reported me.

He was also repeatedly told to chill out by Promestein.

I think a short ban at this point is warranted. We do not appreciate such behavior no matter what the outcome of the thread is.

I didn't come from a place of spite. I was genuinely having fun over the fact that what I considered to be the absurd wank of infinite speed Touhou seemed to have been rejected by all "relevant" parties.

Malomtek told me that he would stop with the insults and mocking in that thread, but as AKM noted, he did that earlier as well, and then continued anyway. Should we give him a 2 week ban to make sure that he learns his lesson?

I don't think that will be necessary, sir. If you haven't noticed, I've been able to continue the discussion in that thread without insults or mockery. And again, I didn't think that MS Paint comic I drew would be taken so seriously. The lesson has been learned, and it won't happen again.
 
I think letting this one slide would be best, and if he does something similar or worse, then the punishment should be severe as a result for letting this one go.

I'm fine with a more major warning, but I don't think any sort of ban is necessary.

I'm legitimately trying to follow and help the flow of the conversation in that thread. One off-the-cuff little comic is not enough to disrupt all the genuine good-faith effort I put into that discussion.
 
We both know that's only the case because banning is on the table. Not like this is the first time it's happened in that same thread. Let alone other threads. I could compile a list of stuff that's happened with you, I just don't want to.

Okay, look. I can understand the frustrations of everyone here involving Malomtek, so I have a proposal.

I am willing to allow this to be a final, final warning for you. However, be aware that you are on extremely thin ice at this time. Both myself and the other mods will be watching you, and if you give us any reason whatsoever to do so, we will give you a ban according to the severity of your actions. So if you know what is good for you, you will remember to be cautious with your own words and be respectful of other people and their opinions.

Is this clear, @Malomtek?
