A duplicate of Akane that had been swimming in the elemental plane of water stays true to her word, and in response to the transmutation into a shark, uses her abilities to attempt to summon the transmutated, power nullified Ed to her, and lock them both in that plane with dimensional anchor.

Akane's powers being in the same level, and her and her abilities resisting literally everything, prevent the attempts at teleporting the shark back out of the elemental plane of water.

As we have all almost unanimously agreed that reacting before the shark was moved was impossible, due to Akane resisting being seen, along with resistance negation, and the movement of the shark being instant, and thus nothing being there to react to, the shark man is indeed transported anyway.

meanwhile, the real Edward was in a dimension laughing at the discussion because his three-dimensional shell was being banished. Still, he can't get out of this higher dimension due to some rules, but that didn't matter to him.
