RP • A Country Divided Thread

"Sorry...!" Palaria said, Claria squeaking as she was pulled via telekinesis

"This is what I was worried about, hopefully your house isn't leveled...!" Palaria said, barreling outside as a massive demon was rushing them, a chaotic aura seeping from pitch black spiked and layered armor, Terevion taking a shot at it with his pistol and leaving a minor dent

Guzma grunted, summoning a massive insectoid creature that stalled the demon in it's tracks, Claria taking a step in front of Palaria to protect the Mage instinctively as a bunch of smaller demons began coming as well
 
Alex through a somersault fell to the ground with grace and cut a small demon with her scythe.

Mark got his face stuck in the snow and then got up.

"Damn it, so soon, I'll annihilate them all" Mark said annoyed at this attack, covering his arms with darkness to generate two long swords and prepare for the confrontation
 
Kaminos ignited as he drew his weapons, activating his Merciless Mentality and and pummeling the horde of enemies in front of him. Para created bolts of lightning that would help crowd control some of the demons, and her sleep manipulation on others in an attempt to stop them in their tracks. Epithymia was suited up, flying above the rest of the group, firing bullets and missiles into swarm of demons. However, she had three special missiles that she hadn't used that she was saving for when they were needed.
 
Lazarus breathed out, his eyes going slightly bloodshot as he stared at the demons.

"Demons...." He muttered. His whole body trembled as his mouth began to froth with black liquid. He opened his mouth, letting out a deranged scream as he grabbed a throwing potion from his pocket dimension. Pulling his arm back, he sent it flying into the center of the group of demons, creating a thick, green mist that covered a chunk of the group. The mist itself was highly toxic...but his intention wasn't to poison them. Grabbing another potion, he tossed it into the smoke. The two chemical's mixed in the air, creating an incredibly volatile reaction. A large explosion erupted from the mixture, inflicting heavy, poisonous burns to any demon unfortunate enough to be within range.

Goliath touched the ground, deciding to try out his new attunement to his own magic. His body began to glow suddenly, the ground erupting around him and coating his physical form, acting akin to armor as the thick rock and dirt covered every inch of his skin. This gave him an appearance akin to a Golem made of stone.

Elemental Soul: Mataaho

Goliath charged forward, the very earth shifting with his steps. Pulling his arm back, he threw a punch forward, a massive amount of earth simultaneously exploding from the ground, forcefully burying and crushing multiple demons at once.
 
Kaminos put his shield on the ground, strapping his boot into it. Creating a forceful burst of heat from the back of his body, he propelled himself forward, altering the flow of heat to maneuver himself. As he did so, he stretched out his hand, touching various demons in the horde. Explosions followed not long after. He then leapt up, hitting one in the head and slicing its face with the bladed edge of his shield Exoteros, before swinging Klauthmos and Brygmos simultaneously, creating flaming pressurized air that would detonate on several of the horde.

"Is there something he's upset about that he's taking out on them or...?" Epithymia asked, still firing at the horde.

"Can't tell..." Para said as she kept fighting, "He's doing that thing... When he's like that, I can't tell what causes it..."
 
"Nuisances... Nuisances Nuisances Nuisances Nuisances Nuisances..." Cain summoned The First Blade and another dagger to herself, getting into a stance as she transformed into human form. In a single step, she charged forward into the horde of demons, damming the smaller ones to a fate of being assaulted with long, sharp, and violent cuts from all directions, creating a storm of slashes while she simultaneously delivered cuts to the larger demon, displaying ungodly speed and precision, especially in her lighter and much more nimble human-form.

"Die Die Die Die Die Die Die Die Die...!!!"

She was clearly enjoying being able to both fight at a swifter pace due to her less bulky body in human-form, along with enjoying being able to rip and tear demons freely for the first time in a while.

"God ******* damnit... My house!" Ryan let out a sigh, snapping his fingers as green energy began hovering in the air, beginning to form into large, roughly crafted weapons, which, despite their clearly improvised craftsmanship, were expertly made regardless. The blades floated in the air as Ryan snapped his fingers once more, causing the swords to break off into flight towards the large demon with expert accuracy in an attempt to skewer it.

"We are kind of being hunted...!" Palaria called out, causing a magical explosion on the "Big One" as the demons were clearly focusing her, causing her to visibly wince from the energies swirling about

Claria rushed forward, cutting into the small horde on her own, specifically looking to assist her allies

Guzma had several things fire off the insectoid creature's back plates as ranged missiles, slamming into the large demon and helping Palaria fight it off while he conjured something else and began materializing Undead from the ether to help hold back the demons

Terevion began firing off shots towards the head of the large demon as it was pushed back, trying to break the helmet and pierce into it while using another gun to try and keep the demons off of Palaria

Magnus unleashed an attack that seemed to deal less damage than Palaria's, but was aimed at making sure the demons found it difficult to rush forward as energies swirled in the air around them, specifically away from Palaria as the massive Archdemon had a visible snarl on his face, beginning to make his way to Palaria to help defend her
 
Cain's attention was turned to the group of demons surrounding Palaria as she kicked off the air and began swirling all the enemies that were coming towards her with a storm of attacks, black liquid flying about that was spewing from her mouth as Ryan was primarily focusing on the big one that had attacked his house, realizing he couldn't do much and just continuing to pelt it with enormous swords as he expected the others to protect Palaria..

Mark ran while slashing demons while staying close to Palaria to protect her in any case.

Alex jumped up and conjured a blast of holy energy to burn as many demons as he could, while physically slashing several smaller ones.
 
Para drops down beside Palaria, using telekinesis to push back several of the demons as Epithymia fires missiles at some of the demons from above, firing off more gunfire as she does so. At the same time, Kaminos was continuing to plow his way through the horde of demons, flames and explosions following him as he made a beeline for the larger demon. Bouncing off a demon, he uses it to angle himself to send a burst of heat that would propel him straight up to the demon's neck. He then held Brygmos with both hands, using his retractable arm blades as well as the bladed edge of Exoteros. Klauthmos would be strapped to his back as he let out another explosive burst of heat energy, gathering the speed necessary for an attempt to take the demon's head clean off.
 
Dhei summons 3 chains in each hand and kept swinging them around with enough speed and force to slice the little demons in pieces, although eventually he would tie several of them together with the chains from the left hand and slam them afterwards into the hordes continuously from all sorts of direction as he swings with them

When he took down a good number of them, he would focus his sight to the big demon, as he began running on all 4 members at it, transforming into his half form on the way, before he lunges halfway at it to do a big slash at its belly
 
Goliath glanced at Kamnios for a moment.

"...impressive..." He muttered. He reared his hand back, unleashing a vicious slap that turned several demons into a broken pile of bone and viscera. The slap was accompanied by earth magic, a tsunami of dirt and rock forming in front of his blow. the wave would charge forward, burying the demons that found themselves trapped underneath. Stepping forward, he used his size manipulation to increase his already massive size by several times, standing nearly at eye level with the big demon. He wrapped his arms around the being, attempting to restrain it and allow the others to cut into it easier.

Lazarus grabbed 4 potion's from his dimension, throwing them foward into the group of demons. Grabbing the 5th potion, he threw it into the group's center, the potion detonating itself and all the surrounding explosives into a massive burst of acidic fumes and flames. The acid smog slowly ate into the demon's flesh as the flame scorched them into nothing.

Blood continued to drip from his mouth, and he suddenly staggered to the ground, breathing heavily as he drank another gulp of his medicine to keep him going.
 
The large demon let out a piercing roar, suddenly grabbing Dhei and slamming into the ground repeatedly as Palaria's eyes widened as she teleported Dhei out of the grip of the demon, it caught and threw Kaminos just as the insectoid piercing it through the back with it's claws and rising it into the air as it roared and howled, the remaining smaller demons trying to attack it just as Guzma summoned blasts of energy around them and thinned their numbers, all while Terevion managed to deal real damage with his shots and Magnus cleared out some demons who were trying trying get behind the group via spikes of earth coming from the ground

(What about Kaminos essentially turning himself into a hollow point to try and take it down?)
 
Dhei would be appearing laid on the ground reverted to human form on his back when Palaria teleported him after the big demon slammed him that much, coughing up a few times, as he was slowly trying to stand up, inhaling and exhaling air

"Keeh....he....he...."
 
Kaminos created more bursts of heat to stabilize himself, instead crashing into several demons and detonating them with an explosive landing. Getting back up, he put his shield on his back, wielding both Klauthmos and Brygmos before catapulting himself in the air with heat, headed back toward the giant demon. He created a massive burst of heat, stretching out his hammer to collide with its jaw. Should he be grabbed again, he would throw Klauthmos, keeping the same momentum headed toward the demon before igniting himself and attempting to stab the demon's wrist with Brygmos and hammering the blade through its arm by slamming Exoteros on the hilt of the blade to force the heated blade through the wrist.

Meanwhile, Para and Epithymia were crowd control, as Epithymia got a chance to test out some of her new inventions: Nightshade Missiles. They would detonate, doing a devastating amount of damage to the horde as Para would use lightning and gravity manipulation to keep others at bay.
 
Cain was practically completely focused on crowd control now as she continued assaulting the horde with a storm of attacks, beginning to heat up her blades to an extreme degree so she could cut them down in a cleaner manner, hoping to give the other some leeway to continue attacking the "big one", while meanwhile, Ryan would continue to pelt the "big one" with swords, but, he would soon have an idea, beginning to charge the swords with heat and electricity right at the tip of the blades to increase their piercing power through heat damage as he continued pelting the thing with the heated up swords, which were instead akin to explosions that also pierced if they managed to successfully hit the "big one".

"My ******* house..." Ryan thought to himself, clearly annoyed that his house was ****** up.

(I never said they managed to destroy his house though? Lol)
 
Dhei would stand up moments later and transforms again in his half werewolf form, running to the bigger demon on all 4 members once more, this time lunging to claw him on the face, in case he would try to grab or hit Dhei during that, he makes his wolf shaped head aura appear materialized to take those for him and allow him to get on his face succesfully

When he will, the wolf boy would shove his heated up nails deep in its skin and run its fingers across and repeats this, trying to leave him nearly skeleton looking from it
 
Mark began to generate dark spikes to kill the fodders while he concentrated his power on the strongest, joining both hands he created a sphere of energy that was shot at the great demon in a position that would not hurt his teammates, for her part Alex threw her Soul's daggers at Great demon
 
Goliath quickly recovered from being overpowered by the giant demon, raising his fist and viciously bringing it down on top of the demon's skull with his full strength. The blow itself seemed to bend the earth around the demon, the ground shaking as it shifted into a whirlpool of jagged rocks, which would begin to tear at the demon's feet to lower its mobility.

Blood flowed from Lazarus's mouth as he grabbed several potions from his pocket dimension. Immediately he threw them at the giant demon, the potions containing a numbing poison that would work to hamper the demon's movements, slowing it down a bit if successful, as it felt its body slowly become less responsive.
