RP • A Country Divided Thread

He looked in the reflection of the water from the glass for a little bit before moving away

Looking around Dhei didnt see Cain anywhere, asking Alex of her whereabouts

"Where is Cain?"
 
He put his glass on a table and looked for Cain outside, then spots the girl at a tree and approaches her

"There she is....hey Ca--"

As he got closer, Dhei saw she was different looking, humanish now compared to the usual way she looks like

"I don't know what to do right now..." Palaria said, she was stressed about everything that was happening, she could handle being in danger, but the fact she could be killed at any moment from any mages around stressed her out to no end

"Well, my mother told me, that when I am stressed or sad, to think of my happy place, made up of the things I liked and the people I love, that way I relax my mind and that at the end one will see a new dawn" Mark said with a genuine smile of want to help her

"I've tried that... it's so hard when one slip-up against the wrong opponent could kill me..." Palaria murmured, closing her eyes as she began to tear up a bit
 
Kaminos merely reclined against a wall, not having much to do. Para would continue to read the Mind of Morgana and Epithymia would use the opportunity to continue working on another modification.

Mark pushed away from his chair and hugged him, trying to comfort her.

"Really, I can't let you cry, I'd rather someone destroy me before you shed a tear by this, Palaria, I promise I won't let anything happen to you and I'll always be by your side, it's a promise" He said while showing her a smile to comfort sorceress

Cain ignored Dhei, simply continuing to cry. No, she wasn't ignoring him, it seemed as though she didn't even notice he was there as she sobbed.

Ryan sighed, "Yknow, you guys don't have to ask me to use the kitchen. Your guests here, use whatever you want."
 
Waiting for Cain's return, Lazarus decided to begin brewing some potions to pass the time. He wasn't short on them by any means, but he never liked not resting on his laurels for too long. Besides' the excitement of the day had already caused him to drain a chunk of his medication. He couldn't afford to let that run out.

"...Wish metal arm had installed a garden...guess I'll have to use my own stock..." He murmured. Reaching into his pocket dimension, he grabbed a few mortars and pestles, set them on a nearby table alongside a few glass bottles.

"...Alright...now for the ingredients..." The man muttered.

Slowly, he held out his arm, beginning to concentrate, his eyes closed as his body tensed up. Eventually....plants began to sprout from his arm, various flora sprouting from the grey, wrinkled flesh. It consisted of flowers of various shapes and sizes, alongside some strange fungi. Breathing out, he reached his other hand over, gripping the plants and forcefully tearing them out of his skin, before beginning to work.

Goliath simply stood around the house, unsure of what to do. Absentmindedly, he glanced over at Epithymia, watching her work on her modifications.

"O-Oh, Dhei... I'm sorry, this must all be so... so weird..." Cain said as she stood up, wiping her black tears, which only caused her face to be smeared with the black liquid. "I'm fine, I- I just need a moment..."
 
"Well first thing i wanna say is that....even the fact that you were human in the past....i still like Cain.....as a friend of course....i actually like this appearance as much as your usual one....."

Says Dhei as he rubbed his neck behind with his palm, then continued

"And the last thing i wanted to say is...im...sorry...for how i acted...with the new person....its not my business to get between you and him if you have to talk or anything....i will just let the two of you alone if im a bother...."

He would remember the flashback he had in the kitchen and then the moment Lazarus was close to her, he was starting to imagine things, making him sad when thinking of it
 
"Dhei, I don't care about that any more... Just, try not to start conflict..." Cain murmured as she simply leaned against the tree, appreciating his compliment on her appearance, but not in the mental state to really consider it.

Palaria took in quick breaths in surprise, slowly but surely beginning to hug mark back, though her tears didn't disappear from this
 
Alex would come out and see them both(Palaria and Mark).

"This may not get the chance for this in while, so I made you both something to eat," She said as She handed the two of them an omelette each.

"I hope you two like it" Alex said before leaving to make the others something to eat.

Afterwards Dhei sitted down, grabbing his legs and staying in a curly like manner almost and just stares at Cain in silence, sorta day dreaming while doing so

"I wish one day, you became my girlfriend, i really do"

Said in his mind, hoping he would get his wish get true one day

"... okay..." Palaria murmured, her tears being wiped away as she looked at the omelet, her shaky breaths in a bout of extreme stress clear

Mark just smiled at that and grabbing the cutlery continued to eat, Alex is really trying to get along with both of them.
 
Mark ate happily, he knew he couldn't force Alex and Palaria's relationship, he probably should have said something else but he let time help him, he can't paint his sister as one of the best things in the universe, just tell the truth about how was she and stuff.

"this is soo good" he said as he continued eating

Cain sighed, turning to Dhei and snickering as she seemed to currently be reading him like a book at this point...

"Let's go back inside, Dhei." She said, getting up.
