Resistance to Mind Manipulation?

I have noticed that there are "Resistance to Mind Manipulation" in some Touhou characters' profiles. The listed reason is that "Was unaffected by the true Moon, which can drive humans insane and kill them if they look at it".

I'd like to suggest change them to "Resistance to Madness Manipulation". The reason is that they could be affected by Mind Manipulation as shown in Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.

There are evidences that suggest Reimu and other heroines are affected by the Mind Manipulation. After "fighting against" Yachie Kicchou:

(What's going on...? I know she's gotta be lying.) (But I feel like I have to believe her anyway...)

And while fight against Keiki Haniyasushin, the heroines are possesioned by animal spirits.

First of all, "being affected by mindhax" isn't an anti-feat for the resistance, it's a feat for the mindhax, since it means that it can affect people that resist; and second, possession isn't mindhax.

I do think Ionliosite's points make sense.

Resistance to Madness Manipulation does look to be more accurate compare to Resistance to Mind Manipulation, at a glance. I think we should get more inputs from verse supporters.

I do think Ionliosite's points make sense, too. But I'd like to say that "resistance to XXX" without limitation description is often considered as "immune to XXX"

(In fact, I'm one of the supporters. )

Resistance is not immunity. The ones that have no description as to how they got the resistance needs an explanation on what the strength of the hax is.

Also, what are your views on resistance to Madness Manipulation being more accurate than resistance to Mind Manipulation?

Nevermind, on the question; I do remember the reason for mind manipulation resistance was always mentioned to be resisting the effects of the true Moon whose description sounds like the resistance to madness manipulation to me but you think it is fine as mind manipulation resistance then I am fine with that.

Bump, I agree with this. Why is it listed as mind manipulation when it's literally madness manipulation.

More extreme forms are capable of outright killing those who suffer from their effects

Change it to resisting type 3 madness manipulation.
