Reiatsu Crush is Passive?

So I've been seeing threads with Bleach characters stateing Reiatsu Crush is passive. I'm not knowledgable on Bleach, I've only seen some of the anime and read some of the manga so excuse me if I get this mixed up but is Reiatsu Crush really passive?.

Didn't Aizen half to actaully release his reiatsu in order for him to start putting the pressure on Grimmjow?. Also wouldn't by default the Captains and Espada would be killing any lower rank Shinigami or Arrancar just by being near them?. A lot of fights I've seen in Bleach don't have characters passivly killing much weaker characters. Hell, wouldn't Yammy and Ulquiorra Cifer have killed Ichigo and his friends as soon as they stepped into their general area?.

Am I getting Reiatsu Crush mixed with something else or are we assuming everyone is holding back?. I would like someone to explain Reiatsu Crush and how it works because I'm confused.

Basically it has to be regulated, for someone like Kenpachi or Ichigo it is pretty much passive as they have very little control over their own Reiatsu, someone like Aizen can control the amount of Reiatsu he releases so that this won't become a problem for those but if he doesn't regulate it will crush someone, like what happened to that human that Aizen walked beside, Aizen had just so much at that be probably couldn't regulate

it's passive in combat as bleach characthers always release their reiatsu while preparing to fight , it's not released all the time, while relaxed in everyday life for example in most cases.

so according to this wiki , fight start with the characther knowing they must fight and ready to do so(so already flexing their aura for those that have it) so it is treated as passive as much as fights here are concerned .

^ Yep, it's basically that...Outside of a fight they have to regulate it but in combat they can just let it go raw

I wouldn't say is passive and they have to target someone to use affect him with Reiatsu crush otherwise this horse is Yhwach level.

I wouldn't say is passive and they have to target someone to use affect him with Reiatsu crush otherwise this horse is Yhwach level.

Of course the Horse is on Yhwach's level, look at how majestic he is...And since it's Yhwach's Horse, would it not make sense for Yhwach to have simply trained it and shared some of his power with it ?

so ? just mean that yhwach purposefully spared his horse by only directing it to those he wanted to influence

without purposefully targeting something , it just spread out all around you without distinction
