Pokémon Reburst: Songs of the People RP

I follow the others.

"Burst Warriors, from what I've heard they are kind of half-men and half-pokemon"

"And I can assume you two are Burst Warriors'"

Thomas looked back at the truck full of guards, then the group walking away from them. 'Well, might as well..." He said quietly as he ran to join the rest of his hopefully new friends, trailing slightly behind the rest of the group. Suddenly, the Pokeball on his waist started to shake, and he put his hand on it. "No, not yet, Yapper. Let's wait until we're somewhere a bit more...presentable, okay?" The fact that the Pokeball stopped shaking was a fairly good sign for him that Yapper was satisfied for the time being.

"Yeah, we're both burst warriors. Well, we're what a burst warrior is supposed to be. Fighting for the people, and not against them." He continued forward, and you could see that the vegetation and plant life was getting thicker and more common. You seemed to be entering a forest.

"And we're not really half pokemon," Kaedae continued. "We're just able to merge with our own pokemon. We work together to realize our full potential in a way that normal trainers can't. It's unlocking both physical and mental strengths and using them in tandem, and working together in sync."

"And the best part about it is that you don't need a pokeball to do it, so they can't control you. You can do whatever you want."

"Oh, that's pretty awesome!" Thomas said. "I bet that means we all could do that too, right? That'd be so cool!" As usual, Thomas was filled with nothing but positivity as he stepped over plants and fallen branches as they walked through the woods.

Nicholas let out Porygon and they both followed the group. "Fuse with a Pokemon, indeed an interesting prospect, to be free of their control, that would be quite good."

Thomas chuckled. "Pretty sure it's not that easy, Charley. I'd think we'd need to perform some kind of special ceremony or something to make that happen. Still, when it does happen, it is preeetty sweet to think about."

"Well, it's not exactly a simple thing to do. You can't do it right now, at least." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a little jewel that was about the size of the palm of her hand. Inside of it was something that looked strikingly similar to a Vileplume. "You need a burst heart. These little things are what allow you to burst, and you can even go inside them to interact with your pokemon. There used to be something where you couldn't take them out of the gem ever, but..."

She held her gem out and there was a flash of light, similar to a pokeball, and a Vileplume appeared. "Haruto did a little tweaking with our supply."

"It really wasn't anything special," he said with a chuckle. "What is special so what you have to do to be able to burst. You need what's essentially a perfect connection with your pokemon. That's why most burst warriors can only get two and at most three burst forms in their lifetime. If you try to burst with a pokemon who's not fond of you, the results are...less than pretty,"

Thomas smiled. "Well, that doesn't seem that hard. After all, me and my Pokemon are like bread and butter. We've been pals ever since I got him."

"Copter and I were together since I was a toddler and he was a hatchling. I managed to keep him secret until I was ten. We are as close as can be. Isn't that right buddy?" Yanma gave a "Yan!Yanma!" As a response.

Purple sends her Shiny Happiny out of its ball and hugs her. "I'd say me and Happiny have a good connection~!" Happiny smiles.

"Hmm, right. Well, the jewels are at our base, off in Viridian Forest. Though, before I continue, how many of you are truly serious about going this far? Because once you go this far, turning back is...extraordinarily difficult."

Jasmine tilted her head and threw her pokeball up into the air. The Sableye appeared next to her and it grinned wickedly. "Sableye and I are pretty close, and I don't want to be under those bozos anymore. I'd do it."

Purple shrugs. "Eh, I'm already to far into this to go back now, so I guess I'm in~." Happiny happily nods her head in agreement.

Thomas looked back and sighed. "Well, I'd personally like to let my parents know about where I'm going first. Then again, that may be a bad thing." He unclipped the Pokeball from his waist and stared at it in the palm of his hand. Closing his fist and breathing deep, he finally said, "Okay, let's do this."

"I've never been a fan of this government and now they just decide to randomly force us into whatever that was, if you can give us the power to stand against them, I would be willing to do so. Right, Porygon?" Porygon responds with buzzing noises.

"We'll join you."

I sigh, then pick up my cell phone and write a message to my mother.

"Mom ... after a long time I decided to re-evaluate my choices ... and I'm about to do something that you probably won't like ..."

"I'm going on a journey in search of myself, I don't know when I'll be back but don't worry ... I already have supplies with me and above all I have Solrock who will keep me safe"

"When we meet again ... I will have have understood who I am, I love you ... and goodbye" I write, to then send the message.
Immediately afterwards, I release Solrock from my pokeball.

"Solrock ... use Rock Throw" I ask after throwing my phone in the air.

Solrock executes the command, throwing stones at my cell phone and shattering it into a thousand pieces.

"Well ... so he won't be able to track me down ... or I won't have to see his worried words," I say, then sigh.

"So ... now that my mother believes that I have gone on a long and indeterminate journey ... at this point I think I will have to join the group, also because I doubt that I could easily return home if I am followed by this alleged corrupt government "

"Uh...breaking your phone wasn't exactly necessary, but alright. I admire the initiative. She chuckled and looked at all of the kids. "Now, I'm going to have you give me your pokeballs. They won't be useful to you anyways, afterwards."

Spring and Jasmine did what she asked, though spring looked a little less than excited about it.

"Once we get to or base, you'll be given Burst hearts, and your introduction will begin," Haruto commented as he watched to make sure the kids followed those orders.

"Solrock ... apparently you too will have to give up your house" I exclaim, handing my pokeball.

Solrock shows a slightly downcast expression.

"Hope you guy know what you're doing."

I also threw it at them. At the same times, I think again about my connection with Riolu again...

Suddenly, I feel a tug on my leg, and see Riolu there, with eye unwavering. As if reassuring me....

Well, nothing to worry about I guess, since we have trained with each other, still...

Though there is still worry in my heart, I look back as him with the same unwavering eye, affirming it.

With a heavy assumption that everyone hands over their pokeballs, with Spring and Jasmine removing their pokemon before doing so, Kaedae would smile and toss the pokeballs up into the air. While that not only released the pokemon that were still in their pokeballs, but it also allowed for her Vileplume to grab them with its vines and rather casually crush them. She smiled. "You won't be needing those, so we just get rid of them. Most pokeballs have tracking devices nowadays. That's something they don't tell you."

"Well, the government sanctioned kidnapping probably should've made that clear." Nicholas says in reply to Purple. Porygon makes buzzing noises in response.

"It's somehow a blessing they didn't managed to mass-produce Master Ball...or at least, not that I known of."

"Hey, Purple ... look at the positive side of the situation ... and if you can, show me where you see it" I say with an annoyed tone.

"Would you, like, shut the hell up for a second?" Jasmine asks in regards to Drake before rolling her eyes. "So where are we going?"

"Off into the Viridian Forest. We have a shack in the woods that we call our base. We have plenty of places to sleep for occasions like this, by the way, so don't worry about space."

"It'd actually be the first time that place has been used. Normally it's just us two and the old man. It shouldn't take that long now."

Purple chuckes. "We are no longer kidnapped and our pokemon are safe." Purple replies to Drake. Happiny chuckles as well.
