Using it from really really far away puts the speed at a disadvantage lol. Considering the stands are relativistic to mftl, the bullets getting stopped and you’ve given your position away

ZZ is an example of it not being the case, we even see his car get mangled and smashed apart and the damage wasn't reflected.
But something like Geb, or Ebony Devil, do take damage if you destroy or harm the object they're bound to.

They can damage his car, but it wouldn't reflect back to him or the Stand energy that's bound to it.
Though he can heal and stuff. Any Stand integrating with corporal matter can be physically touched, actually injuring the Stand energy a tad diff tho.

Yeah, whether or not they take damage and it gets reflected is case by case. Some Stands do, some don't, when bound.

though if some stands are invisible to non stand users. if they're attacks are not magical aka like magician red. could you see their attacks?
because you said pet shops ice is actually just regular ice imbued with stand energy so maybe you couldn't see the stand but you would be able to see ice flying everywhere.

You can see attacks from a Stand if they aren't supernatural.
For example, Star Cat's bullets, Pet Shop's ice, Iggy's The Fool's sand (sometimes), Bohemian, Planet Waves' meteors, etc.
You can't see the Stand itself, or attacks they do physically, but if they manipulate something that originates as not part of itself, it can be seen.

also you mentioned the ebony devil how destroying the object kills the user.
could that apply with anubis's sword? (if i break it into pieces enough) (though can a non-stand user break the sword?)

Not exactly, you'd only see it when it spits it out. Don't ask how, but the arrow gets turned into a shadow and what not along with it, it's like how Hayato couldn't see Stray Cat untill KQ opened his chest despite the fact he'd have been literally looking straight at it.

so it's basically impossible to kill stands in the jojoverse unless you kill their users. (i meant in the jojoverse itself not including other franchises to the mix or whatever)
