Their breath and blood brings forth this life energy, this life energy has the properties of sunlight.

And radiation manip has never been implied or shown, like at best you could argue the relative radiation of aheat lamp used for gekkos or something but that's like literally nonexistent.

Meh, I had that rationale because I thought they were 'altering their energy' not because their 'energy possess similar properties to [insert]' but since they don't do the former, yeah transmutation is unfounded.
