This is a copy of another thread, however, that other thread is pretty old. And this will also talk about the respect thread:

  • "Deathless Gods:
"The Olympian Lightener [Zeus] called all the deathless gods to great Olympos, and said that whosoever of the gods would fight with him against the Titenes, he would not cast him out from his rights, but each should have the office which he had before amongst the deathless gods; he said, too, that the god who under Kronos had gone without position or privilege should under him be raised to these, according to justice." -Source: Hesiod, Theogony 390 ff (trans. Evelyn-White)

  • Deathless Gods:
"[Zeus] the son of Kronos and the other deathless gods whom rich-haired Rhea bare from union with Kronos, brought them [the stormy Hekatonkheires] up again to the light at Gaia's (Earth's) advising." -Source: Hesiod, Theogony 617 ff

  • Undying Gods:
"The boundless sea rang terribly around, and the earth crashed loudly: wide Heaven was shaken and groaned, and high Olympos reeled from its foundation under the charge of the undying gods, and a heavy quaking reached dim Tartaros and the deep sound of their feet in the fearful onset and of their hard missiles." -Source: Hesiod, Theogony 617 ff

Greek gods can't die at all, so I propose they should have Low godly regen."

Also, the Respect thread:

We got 4 votes for Type 5 immortality and an argument for Low-Godly Regen too.

Well, doen't some Gods embody concepts, and the ones that don't can actually create them (via giving birth to them as children)?

Also, regarding Low 2-C Zeus, I'm pretty sure that there are other realms in Greek Mythology, like Tartarus.

Yep Zeus in the blog listed is stated to be the heavens, sky and aether. Also i think Orphic Zeus should be Multi Universal to Multiversal for surpassing Gaia who made and sustains all things in all worlds and being one with all existance which includes multiple realms and universes.

Yeah, and since many gods created or embody concepts, they shouldn have Conceptual Manipulation and Abstract Existence (the latter for the ones who embody them).

Agreed, i honestly see the Gods of Myth becoming majorly haxxed if the revisions go through (I can see the VS Star Wars threads already)

Yep in the blog but the jist of it is many ancient philosophers believed in the idea of multiple universes existing and the Gaia statements claiming multiple worlds exist.

I tried to focus on the Abilities she would have and her extensive lineage. The Formatting is something that is easily sprouced up.

Getting back to the original discussion do you wish to contact knowledgable memebers of the verse on the matter or shall i?

The page was deleted. I don't know why being "deathless" qualifies for Low-Godly regen. Immortality yes, regen no. That's a non-sequitor.

I agree, I think it's Type 5 immortality on those grounds, I think someone brought up an argument for them having low-Godly regen.

I would appreciate more staff input here.

Well, you can politely remind them if you wish.
