Everybody Wants to Die 2: The M E G A Thread

"... Maybe he's enhanced his power to phase out of reality to that degree? Or it's a further shift where he goes into stasis."

"If that were the case I don't think the vampires would suddenly have started fighting for dominion. I think he's just gone, and so is his control."

“Hold on Natch, apparently the guy who had control over America is gone now and all the vampires there have gone crazy. Actually that’s kind of what I wanted to talk about, cause a lot of shit is going on down there.”

"... Well, if he is really gone, we should just continue our invasion plans. What's the status on the clone army and their weapons?"

"I can produce many beings to aid us in our endeavors as well. All I need is a sign for when to bring them out."

Natch sighs over the phone. "Alright, you may owe me two favors. Let's hear it then, what do you need?"

@Blah

"You're not SUPPOSED to take more..."

Deedee punches a hole in the dispenser and pulls out a handful, eating them all at once. "But who cares?"

"A person holding a big gun can still do something, a lot more than just a person."

"They are just as strong as me. I am comparable to you guys so where in the solar system are we going to find something strong enough to be better than them punching."

"I mean, that is a good point, but a punch has no range, and shooting them with a weapon from a goblin will still probably kill."

"I mean fair but I don't know how to make a supply for more clones as 700 isn't enough as there are likely millions of ghouls and vampires or even the current number."

"There aren't millions in any single spot. Their forces are divided, and we'll be going one place at a time. I think it'll be worth it to arm."

"Probably just, as potent as you can get with something a normal person can operate. Again, we do want those goblin weapons, but we're going to have to wait on Xander for the details."

Iyl just nods, creating a number of energy based and some kinetic weapons for use. It seems the machines here are armed with similar.

“Well, I was just gonna let you know that as it turns out, vampires in America might have the ability to absorb goblin genetic material so you guys also have to be wary of that. I was also wondering if you could speak to the higher ups about letting us borrow some weapons so we could exterminate them for you guys.”

“Alright.”I give Deedee a thumbs up, then I take five more medicandy and store them, create some eyes out of cell threads, and eat a medicandy to see how it effects my body, so I can predict what kind of effect it will have on others.

@Yob

"Absorbing things? That's our job." She sounds nonplussed. "I'll try to get back to you on the weapons thing, but I make no promises."

@Blah

It tastes sweet... As you analyze it, it appears to be similar in composition to a pill (IE the medicine being in a container, albeit a much tastier one in this case). The contents inside appear to be entirely magical in nature, given the slight glow that envelops your body.

I guess I won’t know much until I’ve seen more healing magic in use, or tested it in someone injured.
“Thanks Deedee, this will be a big help. I guess we should probably head back now.”

“Alright, just call me back when you get the chance then. There’s also that Nameless guy who’s probably been set lose, so we’re gonna try and deal with him. Anyway, how have you been doing? Did you figure out what you needed me to do as a favor. I’d kind of just rather get it over with.”

Forming a grip and crossguard from my own dense shadows that the black shard sits upon, like a blade as felt natural, I realize it needs... something more. I can't quite tell what, but the closer my mind goes to what is likely that something the greater the feeling of deja vu I have. My best guess is a sort of supernatural shadow beyond my own, to create a more potent interaction. So far, the blade serves as a well-made focus for my shadow abilities, improving their precision and overall potency, but I know that's not all it can do.

After informing the others of my imminent leave, I head back down, or not really since it's not even down from my own perspective but I digress, to earth.

"Well..."

Nil walks over to Xander to see if he's still on the phone.

[I'll just note it here as well, Zeph handed this over to me]

As if out of nowhere, the people of the world feel a strange... shift, in reality itself. It's not quite something one can describe, but if one could put it into human terms, it would be as if the fundamental nature of this reality has been altered. As if something has encroached on it.

@Blahblah9755

Hope would find themselves back in normal reality very suddenly, after speaking their words. Any goblins that were around seemed to be frozen in place and undergoing some unclear change. The change did not seem to be harmful, but it was unclear what was happening.

@Yobo_Blue

Xander would find his communication suddenly cut short.

In general, an odd feeling of intrinsic "wrongness" washed over those brought to this world by Ichika, as if a metaphorical wave of something "foreign" had just struck them.

Those within the Moon base would notice, Iyl was gone, though traces of their magic remained, as did the machines. All of their bodies however, were not there.

@CrimsonStarFallen

Nameless too, would feel this odd sensation, despite their lack of senses. In fact, the shock of this change would restore their senses, though they would feel a severely intense numbness in them for a while.

Nameless, floating in higher dimensional space god knows where, suddely shocks himself back to his senses. He takes a moment to take it in.

"Thanks, Jesus!"

I land about where I originally came from just before the... wave of odd sensation reaches me. It's a very strange feeling, obviously, like everything I knew was simply wrong. I decide that this probably doesn't mean much, and there isn't a whole lot I could do if it did, although I do additionally notice that the telepathic link I had earlier is gone.

The black shard following just behind me, I again scour the surrounding few kilometers for any sign of goblin habitation.
