@DMUA
Dieman's rapid spinning, combined with his profanity-based enhancement, allows him to tear clear through the projectiles and approach the veil.
@CrimsonStarFallen
While the various Mestari maintain their relative effectiveness. Matricardo's control over gravity allows him to rather easily redirect the projectiles. However, the TSB-blast he shot into the veil has little visible effect.
@deonment
Psychis' capacity to warp space appears to be his most effective asset against the projectiles, allowing his strikes to cut into and through them, although not significantly stopping or slowing them.
@Overlord775
As the shroom releases a frankly comical number of wands, each of which attack a few times in sequence, the effect is pronounced. While many of the attacks, like various magical bolts, fireballs, lightning strikes, arrows, and the more mundane ilk, don't appear to do much beyond further disrupt the remaining environment, some attacks are rather effective. Specifically, several bolts turn an area a few meters across of the veil and the related projectiles... into gold and alcohol. Why? Who the hell knows, but if it works it works.
At the same time, the chaos shift takes effect. Despite not consuming anything itself, the shroom feels incredibly high for a brief moment, as the world swells and refracts with light. It seems things are no longer what they used to be.
The exact effect is not instantly obvious, at least from the ground. A glance upwards would reveal that effectively the entire planetary core, or what was left of it, has now turned into water. This water is predictably frozen due to being in low-earth orbit, but is falling back down.
@WHYNAUT
From a more thorough observation, the world behind the veil is... normal. Well, not quite normal to him, or any of the others. The fundamental forces are the same, with their constants maddeningly precise, and space-time has equivalent properties, but there are harsh and aggressive retributions in place for beings like the group.
Additionally, Elfen's attempts to redirect some of the projectiles is only partially successful. While few people really need the help, those that do in any particular moment can't have the attacks redirected. Instead, the spatial folding seems to tear open the projectile, halting it entirely.

As Aya sheds her physical form and opens herself more fully to the metaphysical, she sees... something, in place of the Thing. A mess of green and red lights, flames and plants, with a burning-white form of the strange, jagged symbol seen quite a while ago floating above it. Looking at it hurts her very soul, and conjures the feeling that nothing is sacred. However, this change does allow her to see her surroundings despite her focus, with it being composed entirely of massive cedar trees, extending almost indefinitely upwards.
As the Sword of Repudiation moves, almost sluggishly, to counter the Thing's slash, it stops. It's form is a blur as it initiates an actual attack, slamming down onto the blade with it's own, cutting a jagged scar through it. It's clear that there was resistance within the blade, despite the damage it sustained while the cleaver is unharmed.
Immediately after, the darkness that attached itself to the Thing halts in it's place, before being burnt away. The Thing itself follows after Aya's movements, intercepting her attacks, which appear a good bit slower and weaker than they should be, with it's blade, severing their power and interconnectivity, resulting in them simply flittering into nothing almost instantly after contact.
The Thing seems to begin an attack against Aya, before being distracted by something. In the far distance, X's attacks enter through the veil, with most of the attacks tearing holes clear into it, and impact the ground, creating massive bursts of solar energy. However, what seems to infuriate the Thing the most is Thorn, with it's own intrusive laws that threaten to overtake that of this world. As such, the Thing disappears, having flown upwards at absurd speeds towards X, with the veil extending upwards with it.
